It’s not too many times you have a friend that will say that to you. A friend could love you, but your problems are your problems and not theirs Jamie‘s friend, he really cared about him and like he said even about the motorcycle it’s just metal that’s all it is, I thought that was really sweet.

Imma be real, this probably should’ve been an inside thought. If I’m not mistaken, she’s a child right? Feels a bit weird to see a child in horrible, horrible medical distress and think “wow, she’s a looker!”
I recognize there wasn’t negative intent, but I think thoughts like those should be saved and not said.

As someone with anxiety and sensory and auditory processing disorders (a part of the autism spectrum) I totally felt for Kirsty in this episode. I spent most of my night at work fighting off a panic attack from my anxiety spiking and OCD kicking in (most likely as a result from some PTSD that was triggered) so this episode was a perfect cure all to that while eating dinner and I’m in a much calmer place as a result.

It’s beautiful to see Chloe as such a wonderful and protective sister. I don’t know what she has decided on for a career but she is a natural at caregiving.
I hope Kirsty continues to show the world all that she can accomplish! ❤

Some of these people come in for small paper cuts ( literally). Free health care is great, however it should not be abused. It could cost someone else their life. I saw one episode where a women went in because her fingernail broke and she didn't want it to break further. I've had my fingernail come off and it bleed everywhere. I applied pressure then put a bandaid on.

      Yep it's unreal.
I was in with a broken foot and some lady brought her child in because her and her brother were playing chasey and her brother "poked" her and it hurt
My jaw was on the floor.
Triage needs the right to be able to refuse service for that kind of rubbish.

I feel for the guy that had his fingers hurt. It seems sometimes that nurses and doctors see so many patients that they’re kind of hard when they’re cleaning wounds. I myself have had many wounds and have told them that I’ll take over doing what they’re doing and they could sit there and watch me do it, they allow me to do. I guess being a type one diabetic for 53 years gives me insight to a lot of medical things. I felt bad for him when he was talking about his mom and then telling us that she had passed away and how she passed away. He’s so right you’ll never know. I watched my husband laughing With the neighbour and I thought that’s my guy how much I love him. So I went back to doing what I was doing and it was 7-8 minutes later that my oldest son ran up the stairs telling me to prepare myself. My thoughts were my husband was mowing the lawn and he’s cut himself so I grabbed some towels. Ran downstairs to a neighbour doing CPR on my husband, 25 minutes later, he’s pronounced dead, so I totally agree with him concerning how quick things could change.
Kirsty, that poor girl. I felt so bad when they started listing all the things that is attached to her. And now she has another name added. I’m so happy that she has such a supportive family and her sister staying every night at the hospital, that meant so much to Kirsty.
Jaimie’s leg was so bad, poor guy. Happy he’s doing so much better and he’ll be ok. Cute family.

I think it depends on the specific circumstance. In some cases having lidocaine put in can cause more pain than what just being quick with putting in the stitches or staples for the patient/where the wound is on the body.
Of course, they may just not show the lidocaine portion of the treatment.
