Thank you for the video. Very helpful. One thing, I don't know why your unit didn't alert you when the battery was needing to be replaced. My unit started beeping every 15 second to alert me that it need to be changed out.
When your battery gets low or goes bad, your garage door opener should make an intermittent beeping sound to let you know that the battery needs to be replaced.
I replaced my battery, it charged for 24 hours. The opener that is by the door is not operating. The remote controls do open the door. Not sure what to do to get the opener to turn on when you are closing the GD when you walk inside the house.
Try unplugging the garage door opener, waiting, and plugging it back in and see if that resets something. The only time my key pad does not work is if the garage door unit is not plugged into the outlet or if the power goes out and the backup battery was dead.

I am not sure either. I’m always in the garage tinkering so I would have heard it for sure
Thanks Darius! Appreciate you sharing how to do this!!
Glad it was helpful!
@@DariusBuildz It was very helpful...used your link for replacement battery...take care!

Mine never beeped or anything. And I’m always in the garage working on something. I have a running reminder on my calendar to periodically check it

@@DariusBuildz it was the wire. It did not connect properly
Ok! I’m glad you got it figured out!
