Thanks Doug, I bought this a long time ago and it got buried in the list of other AUv3 plugins, I forgot how good it sounds, time to start using it again now that you have reminded us how it sounds 👍
At that price, it’s an absolute steal. Thanks for letting us know it’s on sale! Not sure why I hadn’t looked at it before. All Paul’s apps are top notch.
Thanks Doug. I'm far far away from sample anything but agree with you - the Chameleon is definitely worth as an instrument app. What I really miss is the lack of < > buttons to quickly switch between presets. It's annoying to open the list first, then the category and finally the preset. 3 clicks instead of one.
This is great for sampling midi accordions. MY FAVOURITE SAMPLER BY MILES. Also great for sampling hardware synths, and very useful for sampling gear that has no patch memory.
It almost seems like a DAW, only needs a sequencer and he has that covered elsewhere. Paul's apps generally aren't overpriced anyway but for that price it's an absoute bargain. I've bought two apps so far this year, both his, this will be my third. Cheers Doug.
Thank you for your nice demo: I'd ask if it accepts midi program change messages and if there are layered sounds like piano + pad (or if it's possible to program 2 layers). Thanks!
Great sounds and sampler and a bargain! I noticed the little reference to Beware the Road and those deep French Horns sounded really good!
I did wonder if you'd pick up on that if you watched the video👍😊

Yes, even if you don't use the sampler it still has all these great sounds ready to go.
This is a great deal then - thx Doug
love when you do these recaps
Yes, i think it's a good idea too, so many great apps come out and get forgotten so it's good to revisit them.
@ indeed!
its sooo good

Long press on the presets drop-down

Even if you never use this as a sampler it still has a very usable bunch of sounds.
Mr. Paul has consistently created apps that people pay 2 and 3 times for on other Apps because they don’t take the time to learn, he’s genius
I grabbed the app. It’s awesome, and I have no idea how to use it! ❤

Does the auto-sampling support velocity layers?
Not sure, I'll check with Paul.
