    • @nickmattedwards
      @nickmattedwards 2 года назад +3

      Dear @@Erekose2023 It was a 3 strike combination during a moment of Red Mist Rage. The 1st punch was a right handed, straight power shot to the solar plexus which would have hurt like hell and shocked the heart. The 2nd punch was also a right handed straight power punch to the Adams Apple of the throat which would have interrupted breathing. As the character played by big David Prowse bent over in pain Callan used his right hand on David's shoulder to bend him forward until he was lying face down on the kitchen table in front of Callan. That's when Callan delivered a single right handed chop to the back of Prowse's neck. It was one hell of a scene and they'd not be allowed to show something like that on TV these days as it was just too damned realistic.

      I don't mind another actor playing the character, after all, lots of different people have portrayed James Bond over the years. The problem is that the guy in the movies (played by Denzel Washington) is not Robert McCall. He is somebody else entirely. Robert McCall was a British government agent, not a United States Marine.

      I love and adore Denzel Washington. BUT I definitely hate it, when degenerated language is used. Especially those totally unnecessary f- words. There is this slaughterhouse scene and never in my life I heard so many f- words. What kind of writers do that and what kind of movie producers/directors allow that? It's a shame that viewers nowadays seem to like f- words very much. I definitely go with John Travolta and his campaign against f- words. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against swearing but everything against f- words. Especially if additionally used for describing even positive things. By the way: What the heck happened to the good old 💩? Why are nowadays only f- words used?

    Woodward never learned to drive and used to hitch-hike to and from theatres in London - as he says on the brilliant all-cast audio commentary on the 'Hot Fuzz' DVD. An extremely modest down-to-earth guy - one of countless under-rated British actors who many of us would far rather watch than over-rated actors like De Niro and Pacino(Italian-sounding names ending in 'o' can really boost your pizazz it seems..)

One episode he kills about 4 terrorists first he rams the metal spike from toilet roll holder into a guys neck then he strangle the next! If he was as young as in his callam days the premise wouldn't be same plus he would probably still be working for the company.
