An episode from the much underrated and extremely funny anthology series "Carol & Company" starring the wonderful Carol Burnett and her wonderful ensemble regular cast.
"Soap Gets In Your Eyes" features Carol playing a fading soap opera actress that learns the surprising truth that her days are numbered in this badly written fictional world.
Guest starring the much missed and talented actor Robert Guillaume.
**I am not the original up-loader of this video, but this version has been peeled back to remove the commercials and before/after non-associated footage.**
This series has never been released on home media which is a real shame as it deserves it.
Originally transmitted on NBC 5th May 1990.
In Australia it aired at some point in mid 1992 to early 1993 on the Seven Network.

Fabulous! I saw none of these Carol & Co. shows in 1990-1991. But of course many years prior, as a kid, I was (and am still) a huge fan of Carol's iconic show from the 1970s. Thank you, Ms. Burnett. You are a beautiful, kind hearted, generous woman and remarkable comedienne and entertainer. ♥
