Hi there! Thank you for your honest review. I have shoulder lenght hair, bleached blonde and very frizzy. I've always had that problem with frizz even before I started to bleach my hair. My first Kerastase product was Kerastase Discipline Keratine Thermique leave-in. It smelled amazing and it controled the frizz only when I blow-dryed my hair. As I like my hair to air dry, after I finished that one, I searched for another product to help my frizz. I bought Kerastase Aura Botanica Lait de Soie leave-in. It smells amazing, like I've been at the spa and it controls my frizzy hair even when I air-dry it. When I blow-dry it the results are amazing! In all this time I used Wella Professionals Fusion mask, which contains sillicones. Maybe those good results were due to this mask ... or to the oils in the Lait de Soie leave-in. I don't know. In January I finished my Wella Fusion mask and having in mind that the leave-in from Aura Botanica was such an amazing product I decided to buy the Kerastase Aura Botanica mask. I have to say that my air-dried hair looked like hay, crispy, no shine ... awful. The results were just a little bit better when I blow-dried my hair. I really wanted to work. I expected that the results will get better with every use. It didn't. I'm glad you reviewed this mask and I'm sure I'll never buy again another expensive product without watching your honest reviews first.

Discipline smooth and silky too. So georgeous. Keralogie former kerastase was my first hair love. My sister was a hairdresser, I was 13 years old at the time. she always brought everything from keralogie. Today I am 42 and there is nothing that surpasses kerastase and I am really a cosmetic junkie. From redken, which is great to olaplex, I've tried dozens of companies. I always keep going back to kerastase. Genesis is the next one, but I still have the extensionist series I want to use. The resistance line makes hair firm and strong. This is a curly girl friendly / approved line. I have its shampoo and I love it. I am planning to buy the conditioner and leave in since they do not have any glycerin they are cold and dry wheather friendly.
Didn't watch the full video yet, but I already can say that this line is the only one I don't like from Kerastase. I have 4 products -Lait de Soie: Protect the hair againt heat and should bring discipline and softness, well IT DOESN'T. -Creme de Boucles: Kind of leave in conditioner for curly hair, suppose to bring nourishment and natural curl definition and protect the hair during the blow drying process, well after applying it, my felt dull, dry, brittle and gave me the scarecrow look 🤣🤣🤣, I hated it. -Soin Fondamental: Suppose to be a very rich moisturizing conditioner, well IT IS NOT, in fact it is nothing special, and left my hair with a weird texture that I can't describe. -Baume Miracle: Multi use hair product with a waxy texture, but soon as you work through your hands becomes an oil and you can apply on the hair. Well, it is ok since I have very very dry hair, but for other types of hair I would not recommend, cause it is very oily and greasy, if you don't know how to apply, it can definitely weight it down. Now the SMELL of the products, it is a mix between green leaves+some green parfum +something rotten and really rancid, not to mention that the last product I described, it is a tiny bottle and it is the most expensive from the entire line. Got another product selection for you if you’re looking for a silicone,parabens and sulfate hair mask the best one is Bridgeo this product is about 80 to 95% all natural it is a lighter texture and it’s half the price of half the masks you use it’s big here in the US and you can also get it at Sephora just thought you should that there is a silicone free product out there for you

I tried the shampoo from this range and was really disappointed. It left my hair with an oily/ greasy after feel and it didn’t feel ‘clean’ afterwards. After this video I don’t think I’ll try anything else from this range though I do love other Kerastase products. Heidi, could you please try out Rene Furturer and Oribe products for us? Would love to hear your thoughts on those two brands. Xx
This line: The Essence D'Eclat and Concentré Oil are amazing for my hair. The only products that control frizz and help my sick, crinkled hair look decent for days.
Hola querida! Heidi... take into consideration not using heat on your hair, at least in the Summer! It works! Reasonably frizzy waves can be sexy too... think Vivienne Westwood or decadent 17th or 18th century type of thing. My hair looks healthy and won't stop growing because I stopped using the freaking iron and whatever ! Love love love💛💛💛💛💛💛

This is crazy......Kerastase puts these ensane prices on their products, but apart from 2 or 3 products, most of them are really disappointing. This Botanic line is just for PR . If you really want a Botanic line, you can try the Garnier line. Less expensive and does the trick. Plus you can choose from coconut oil, argan or olive oil with other ingredients. Plus Kerastase is part from L'oreal line, like Elvive that is way better and has more products from which you can choose and less expensive. Thanks for these great reviews Heidi I love them.I tried this mask with the matching Aura Botanica shampoo and had good results I also used the same shampoo followed by the L'oreal serieexpert glycerol nutrifier with even better results then I would normally get from this mask(and its normally very good!) Maybe it's best to use this mask with the matching shampoo which I personally like a lot.

I really didn´t like the Aura Botanica hair mask, which I bought a couple of years ago. First of all, I felt that it smelled like peanuts. The texture was kind of weird. After using this product, my hair was tangled and matted, it had no shine and it looked dense and opaque. This was my worst experience with a Kerastase product. In a few words, the masks that contain silicone did a much better job on my hair... So I would rather use a hair mask with silicones once a week than this expensive "natural" formula on a more regular basis... My two cents!
I have two sample packets of their mask, and my hair really liked it. But the only product worth multiple repurchases is the Masqueintense in my opinion.
Such a lovely video! new subcriber from Athens, Greece ( Europe). Here you can find this mask for 30 euros online ( 1/2 price of what you mentioned). I guess we are closer to France but still too expensive for u. I have tried a sample of the shampoo of Aura botanica line but i was not satisfied. This line is not for my medium thick, frizy, wavy mediterean brown hair! I use for years kerastase nectar thermique ( blow dry care) and the soleil line in the summer cause the sun in Greece is too heavy for my highlighted hair. The creme uv sublime is so nice even for styling my frizy-wavy hair. Have a lovely day!

I've used the conditioner in this range as I got it as a sample and have absolutely loved it! Wonder whether it's just my hair type or just this mask that's different? Anyone else used other products in this range?
Apparently the rest of the range isn't great. I have fine hair and I love this conditioner, the conditioner seems to be the only product in this range with consistently good reviews
Hi! Personally for the testing on these videos I do shampoo and then either one or the other. Mask usually replaces conditioner for me. Off camera sometimes I apply conditioner on mid-lengths before shampoo to make it gentler (less drying). Some people do it differently though.
Conditioners with silicone should be used after the mask to lock in the nutrients. This is the method most Brazilian women with heavy highlights use. Just do what feels better to you, according to the composition of your conditioner 😉

Quedé con la duda acerca del precio de esta mascarilla ya que busqué en Amazon y estaba a 32 dólares aprox., ahora desconozco si más los gastos de envío pueda subir hasta 62 dólares . La verdad te costó bastante cara. Concuerdo contigo que es una muy buena mascarilla , tu pelo te quedó muy lindo pero creo que vale la pena comprarla siempre y cuando pagues un precio más razonable. Incluso en Ebay hay un set que trae la mascarilla, shampoo y acondicionador de la misma línea por un precio mucho más accesible, como para que averigues, a lo mejor las próximas compras te pueden salir más convenientes. La verdad es que no se por qué en la página de Kerastase sale más que en ebay. Al menos viendo ebay en mi país salía en total como 50 dólares incluyendo los gastos de envío. Te lo señalaba sólo para que puedas comparar precios, a lo mejor en tu país sale 62 dólares igual con los gastos de envío incluido y ahí no habría nada que hacer al respecto. Tendrías que preguntarle a alguien de confianza que sepa de ebay y amazon pero mucha gente hace sus compras por ahí. No quise polemizar ni mucho menos sólo fue con afán de ayudar. :)
Me parece que mi mascara vino vencida porque tiene un olor muy fuerte como a aceite oxidado!!! Claramente la use de todas formas pero viene a ver que decias vos al respecto y claramente el olor te tendria que haber llamado la atencion... y no.. decis que tiene apenas un olor tipo „herbal“ o sea... algo debe estar mal con la mia 🥺

jajajajajjajajajajaja yo tengo esa linea, y odio el shampooo, pero para mi pelo si me gusta la mascarilla, pero no mata el frizzz, lo siento, solo la uso como tratamiento profundo. Te falta el aceite que es previo, con el pelo seco.
Yeeek this hair mask didn't do anything for me. The whole line didn't do anything for me. The mask smells like something rancid and I didn't see any results at least that's what I noticed. I got it in a 3 products kit so I am going to use them but I will never buy them again. Apart from this, I love all the other Kerastase lines haha
Heidi watched manes with Merle and another show. It clicked . Glycerin makes my hair pull moisture from the atmosphere and grow instead of lay down. It’s a humectant that wouldn’t do that if everything like humidity were perfect. I started playing with it and I could see a difference.
This is by far the worst Kérastase line. I hated every product I tryed. I don't care about silicones, they go off with sulfates, which basically every shampoo have, unless sulfate free ones, which are rare... if ever feeling like your hair is too heavy just use that shampoo that cleaned your hair too much, I guess we all have one in our bathrooms. My hair likes silicones. Every product I love have silicones. Every good professional haircare brand have hair masks, conditioners and treatments with silicones on it, Kérastase, L'Oreal, Redken, Wella, Joico... I think that tell us something, if silicones are bad as people say, amazing products we and our moms used for years would be a flop by now. I'm a man but my hair is straightened, and bleached. My favorite shampoo by Kérastase is Bain Desite, it helps my hair fall since I have alopecia. And my fav Kérastase hair mask is Masquintense for thick hair. My second fav mask is Joico's Moisture Recovery, I think you would love that one, you should try it, also Sebastian's Penetraitt. There's no going wrong with those ones. The shampoo for Aura Botanica made my hair dry and stiff and the mask at the same time made my hair either heavy and dry, very weird. Revitaluxe is really good, once had just made my roots (both bleach and keratin treatment) the night before traveling and I just took with me a 50ml revitaluxe sample, it made my hair amazing, not worry about damage during the trip, my hair just sucked it all like a hungry baby in a bottle. It's funny how I thought how on the first two washes after the chemicals I felt like I could use the whole product and it would never be enough, but on the third one it started already feeling stronger, sealed and nourished I felt I could use a lot less product. X
Hi! Maybe you missed it but, in today’s video I showed you both. Even if I hadn’t, trust me there’s a huge difference on my hair before and after a product, even if blow dried. I can certainly tell, sometimes even more than “natural” because my natural hair is very wild no matter what 😜 Blowdrying doesn’t solve all problems, unfortunately! 😫

This is crazy......Kerastase puts these ensane prices on their products, but apart from 2 or 3 products, most of them are really disappointing. This Botanic line is just for PR . If you really want a Botanic line, you can try the Garnier line. Less expensive and does the trick. Plus you can choose from coconut oil, argan or olive oil with other ingredients. Plus Kerastase is part from L'oreal line, like Elvive that is way better and has more products from which you can choose and less expensive. Thanks for these great reviews Heidi I love them.I tried this mask with the matching Aura Botanica shampoo and had good results I also used the same shampoo followed by the L'oreal serieexpert glycerol nutrifier with even better results then I would normally get from this mask(and its normally very good!) Maybe it's best to use this mask with the matching shampoo which I personally like a lot.

I really didn´t like the Aura Botanica hair mask, which I bought a couple of years ago. First of all, I felt that it smelled like peanuts. The texture was kind of weird. After using this product, my hair was tangled and matted, it had no shine and it looked dense and opaque. This was my worst experience with a Kerastase product. In a few words, the masks that contain silicone did a much better job on my hair... So I would rather use a hair mask with silicones once a week than this expensive "natural" formula on a more regular basis... My two cents!

Absolutely I agree with you Marcela, that was also my experience.
I have two sample packets of their mask, and my hair really liked it. But the only product worth multiple repurchases is the Masqueintense in my opinion.

I have tried a sample of the shampoo of Aura botanica line but i was not satisfied. This line is not for my medium thick, frizy, wavy mediterean brown hair!
I use for years kerastase nectar thermique ( blow dry care) and the soleil line in the summer cause the sun in Greece is too heavy for my highlighted hair. The creme uv sublime is so nice even for styling my frizy-wavy hair. Have a lovely day!

Hi! Personally for the testing on these videos I do shampoo and then either one or the other. Mask usually replaces conditioner for me. Off camera sometimes I apply conditioner on mid-lengths before shampoo to make it gentler (less drying). Some people do it differently though.
Conditioners with silicone should be used after the mask to lock in the nutrients. This is the method most Brazilian women with heavy highlights use. Just do what feels better to you, according to the composition of your conditioner 😉

Quedé con la duda acerca del precio de esta mascarilla ya que busqué en Amazon y estaba a 32 dólares aprox., ahora desconozco si más los gastos de envío pueda subir hasta 62 dólares . La verdad te costó bastante cara. Concuerdo contigo que es una muy buena mascarilla , tu pelo te quedó muy lindo pero creo que vale la pena comprarla siempre y cuando pagues un precio más razonable. Incluso en Ebay hay un set que trae la mascarilla, shampoo y acondicionador de la misma línea por un precio mucho más accesible, como para que averigues, a lo mejor las próximas compras te pueden salir más convenientes. La verdad es que no se por qué en la página de Kerastase sale más que en ebay. Al menos viendo ebay en mi país salía en total como 50 dólares incluyendo los gastos de envío. Te lo señalaba sólo para que puedas comparar precios, a lo mejor en tu país sale 62 dólares igual con los gastos de envío incluido y ahí no habría nada que hacer al respecto. Tendrías que preguntarle a alguien de confianza que sepa de ebay y amazon pero mucha gente hace sus compras por ahí. No quise polemizar ni mucho menos sólo fue con afán de ayudar. :)
Puedes hablar de los termoprotectores para el cabello...recomendar alguno etc ...ojalá subtitulado...saludos

Me parece que mi mascara vino vencida porque tiene un olor muy fuerte como a aceite oxidado!!! Claramente la use de todas formas pero viene a ver que decias vos al respecto y claramente el olor te tendria que haber llamado la atencion... y no.. decis que tiene apenas un olor tipo „herbal“ o sea... algo debe estar mal con la mia 🥺

jajajajajjajajajajaja yo tengo esa linea, y odio el shampooo, pero para mi pelo si me gusta la mascarilla, pero no mata el frizzz, lo siento, solo la uso como tratamiento profundo. Te falta el aceite que es previo, con el pelo seco.

Yeeek this hair mask didn't do anything for me. The whole line didn't do anything for me. The mask smells like something rancid and I didn't see any results at least that's what I noticed. I got it in a 3 products kit so I am going to use them but I will never buy them again. Apart from this, I love all the other Kerastase lines haha

Heidi watched manes with Merle and another show. It clicked . Glycerin makes my hair pull moisture from the atmosphere and grow instead of lay down. It’s a humectant that wouldn’t do that if everything like humidity were perfect. I started playing with it and I could see a difference.
This was the worst mask I've even tried 3 times and my hair was so heavy and not manageable. The tub is full I can not longer use. Waste or money.
This is by far the worst Kérastase line. I hated every product I tryed. I don't care about silicones, they go off with sulfates, which basically every shampoo have, unless sulfate free ones, which are rare... if ever feeling like your hair is too heavy just use that shampoo that cleaned your hair too much, I guess we all have one in our bathrooms. My hair likes silicones. Every product I love have silicones. Every good professional haircare brand have hair masks, conditioners and treatments with silicones on it, Kérastase, L'Oreal, Redken, Wella, Joico... I think that tell us something, if silicones are bad as people say, amazing products we and our moms used for years would be a flop by now. I'm a man but my hair is straightened, and bleached. My favorite shampoo by Kérastase is Bain Desite, it helps my hair fall since I have alopecia. And my fav Kérastase hair mask is Masquintense for thick hair. My second fav mask is Joico's Moisture Recovery, I think you would love that one, you should try it, also Sebastian's Penetraitt. There's no going wrong with those ones. The shampoo for Aura Botanica made my hair dry and stiff and the mask at the same time made my hair either heavy and dry, very weird. Revitaluxe is really good, once had just made my roots (both bleach and keratin treatment) the night before traveling and I just took with me a 50ml revitaluxe sample, it made my hair amazing, not worry about damage during the trip, my hair just sucked it all like a hungry baby in a bottle. It's funny how I thought how on the first two washes after the chemicals I felt like I could use the whole product and it would never be enough, but on the third one it started already feeling stronger, sealed and nourished I felt I could use a lot less product. X
You blow dry your hair so we cant see the difference it should stay natural otherwise we just blow dry our hair and that's it
Hi! Maybe you missed it but, in today’s video I showed you both. Even if I hadn’t, trust me there’s a huge difference on my hair before and after a product, even if blow dried. I can certainly tell, sometimes even more than “natural” because my natural hair is very wild no matter what 😜 Blowdrying doesn’t solve all problems, unfortunately! 😫
