Thanks ! Very helpful !
Looks good, Chris! I don't think I would mount it on the wall either. That way you can take them to your project and they would be secure when you switch out a plane or two as you're working.
+Flatland Homesteader I never thought of that. Funny thing ... I've been doing that and it never crossed my mind.
Another project to put on my list. Great job showing us how to make our own. Thank you.
+H. White awesome. Thank you!
Nice work. I have a Craftsman smoothing plane. It’s a number 4 size made by Miller’s Falls.
Got it in a pawnshop for $30.00.
It was barely used. Took 1/2 hour to tune it up and it’s a joy to use. It’s good quality and will last a lifetime.
Thanks for sharing. I definitely need one of these
Great . It’s one of the projects I made I truly use all the time. Thanks!
Cool, btw OLD Craftsman tools are excellent
neat and clean
+buzzsah Hey thanks!
The second one, the black low angle block plane could be a craftsman. Stanley’s have their name on them.
I like the idea. I would need a 4x8 sheet of plywood for mine. Be careful gathering up planes can snowball. I have a Stanley plane just like the one you have with no name. Cheers.
+Tim Caldwell wow! I'll need my wife to keep me in check !
