    Looks good, Chris! I don't think I would mount it on the wall either. That way you can take them to your project and they would be secure when you switch out a plane or two as you're working.

    Nice work. I have a Craftsman smoothing plane. It’s a number 4 size made by Miller’s Falls.
    Got it in a pawnshop for $30.00.
    It was barely used. Took 1/2 hour to tune it up and it’s a joy to use. It’s good quality and will last a lifetime.

    The second one, the black low angle block plane could be a craftsman. Stanley’s have their name on them.

    I like the idea. I would need a 4x8 sheet of plywood for mine. Be careful gathering up planes can snowball. I have a Stanley plane just like the one you have with no name. Cheers.
