    You really ought to tag his business in the show notes to really boost his business! He is someone everyone would want to hire! Of course, after you have finished with his services and no longer have a need for them. LOL, I suspect he will be rather busy after that! The house is looking amazing for real! After the stonework it will POP!!

    With an 8 inch tall block, you are 1/4 inch taller than what is allowed by code for riser height. Personally I couldn’t care less, but I’m trying to figure out how to do this on a home I’m building and have it pass inspection.

    • @spencerhansen8374
      @spencerhansen8374 Год назад

      What's the riser height when you add stone? Is your local code different than it is at this location? Can you change the riser height by fanagling the amount of stone set?

    • @bmo5082

      @@spencerhansen8374 I just found out that I am allowed to go to 8 inch riser height on exterior steps.

      All of us are wondering the same thing. One could get close to the number if one thought thru the costing out the key items (with an error-factor. I just looked at the place as a 4Ksqft home, with high quality (everything), @ $70 to 80 per sqft. I might be close or way off ;)

    Honestly this seems quite overbuilt for a mature couple with two teenagers who are probably going to move out soon. I’m currently shopping for a new home in Ukraine and like, a 725 square foot home with a giant garden for $10k is totally normal and attainable.

      HAHA, you have to understand both the US and the Eastern European cultures to reconcile in your mind what they are doing. I live in Eastern European and I see no problem. They are building a high quality luxury home. No one world ever build that here, and if they did the people dwelling in the home would tear it all up. You just cannot compare the cultures....
