The Up-N-Atomizer is the perfect weapon, it has many uses besides just attacking players. You can of course troll with it, but it can also help you out of tricky situations such as your vehicle being stuck or knocking down a fence that's in your way. My personal favorite way to use it is to parkour with it, it's very satisfying to bounce over walls or onto rooftops that you couldn't otherwise reach.

Everyone told me this but I find it to be a lot worse than the special carbine mk2. Yeah it has a huge magazine but it’s so, so inaccurate. It’s a spray and pray weapon and I’m the type of player that mostly goes for headshots so the far more accurate special carbine is my weapon of choice. What do you guys even use it for if I could ask? To me it just feels too inaccurate for any use.
If i still played this regularly i would enjoy the mk2 carbine rifle (not Special), atomizer and mk2 marksman *but* with the 3rd person holo sight, very cool for all scenarios 😎
As someone who can aim and always used the heavy sniper before the mk2s, the explosive sniper is an awesome tool. It's even easier to shoot out griefer jets while grinding, and the thermal scope makes it easy to find ghost mode users as long as you know their approximate location.
at that point just go with the MK2 pistol no upgrades besides hollow points and free aim. thats what i do most of the time and i feel like a secret agent or spy using a pistol only. although it does piss me off when they have carbine rifles and they rapid fire hit me in a heartbeat.
I'm a special carbine guy. I have everything but imo it's the best all-rounder for grinding, not too bothered about pvp. you did miss the 3rd kind of sticky bomb user though, grinders chucking em out of car windows to fight broomsticks😂
I use Up-An-Atomizer to break high metal fences, so I can easily get through. I would use explosives back when the gun wasn't a thing, but now it's way easier and you don't have to worry about blowing yourself up.

I love using the heavy sniper in PVP, but the Combat MG for medium range PVE and the pistol for close range/stealth. And the sticky bomb for tossing at chasing MKII users.

I used to hate the Up-N-Atomizer because originally, my only experience with it was being randomly bullied by people who had it. Constantly being stunned over and over again until the physics engine finally kills me... It is for this reason that I removed the weapon from my weapon-wheel for several years before finding out it's utility as an un-stuck tool for vehicles.
10 months late but feck it. it felt real nice to hear my favorite weapon (heavy sniper) given praise, and the callout to the "marksman" rifle being for skillless losers was magnificent.
There is a 3rd type of sticky bomb player, i call them the Mattaiyoh, they love to sit in their nightshark or half-track or imani tech vehicle throwing them out the window constantly.

My favorite move with stickies is to latch one on to a passing NPC car, watch them freak out and drive straight ahead, then detonate them as they pass the person focusing on you. It's a hail mary, but it lands more often than you'd think.
As a Special Carbine user, I can confirm it always does its job well and I love it SO MUCH, its been with me since I started GTA Online almost a year ago and I still use it even if I got other weapons on me
my top 10 weapons in gta online is 1: the assault rife (with drum mag my most commonly used weapon as i have adapted to it) 2: minigun (bc yes) 3: grenade launcher 4: mini SMG (with drum mag for in vehicles) 5: compact assault rifle (with drum mag for either shooting while in cover or riding a motorcycle) 6:up-n-atomizer (for knocking down fences i cant get by or for getting vehicles unstuck) 7:micro SMG (for when the compact assault rife runs out of ammo) 8:heavy sniper rifle (not explosive mainly for taking out the pilot of helicopters or shooting the tail rotor)\ 9: normal sniper rifle (with suppressor for stealth missions where i have to kill someone) 10: normal SMG (with suppressor for stealth missions)
I’ve switched over from heavy sniper mk2 to marksman rifle mk2, despite my sniper having a handicap of a thermal scope I find the firerate much more convient for my cowardish play style 😅
Oh and also theres this glitch i found: When holding the up n atomizer, you need to call a duke o death and enter from the passenger side. You can now use it from the car, basically an invincible troll
Another one for the explosive sniper. “Your a good grinder and are always at the ready to shoot down any hostile jet that has proven to be hostile and a griefer” for me on PS4, my heavy mk2 has explosive 24/7. But on PC, I barely have explosive rounds, so ye, my aim on PS4 at 30 or less FPS, I am A SHIT SNIPER!!!! But on PC, at around anywhere from 90 to 120 FPS, I am a GOD, not like UversusPro, Krill, or anyone like that, I am not on that level, but I am above the level of Joker For Life in sniping by a little bit, as in if me and Joker had a fair 1v1 snipers, then it would most likely be a fair fight
i use the sticky bomb when i use my semi truck because i find always players with jet fighter or oppressor MK2 so for destroy them i use the sticky bomb
I'm a mixed bag. Every gun has its purpose. Explosive rounds for jets, regular sniper rifle for pvp, carbine m2 for general usage, etc. Sometimes I like to mix it up
I love the assault shotgun I always use it on missions that take place inside interiors and for it's ability to just spray shotgun shells, it's pretty op thank God rockstar didn't give it explosive shells from gta 4 tbogt

I like to beat down my enemies or use the Up-N-Atomizer instead of shooting actual bullets, but I can shoot if I really need to (for example: when enemies are with helicopters or gang attack).
My load out is a heavy sniper Mk2 with a combat mg Mk2 a special carbine with full metal jacket rounds heavy revolver for drive bys, railgun for jets, rpg for spamming in closed corners, grenade launcher for spamming people behind buildings, a shotgun with explosive rounds for people who play dirty and stickies for people who spam tanks or heavily armoured vehicles
Society if the micro SMG and pistol would stay locked in the weapon safe instead of magically being given one within 5 minutes of stepping outside despite having both the micro SMG and pistol hidden from custom loadout
Go to set up: AP pistol for drive by and run & gun, Carabine mk2 for close to mid, as special caeabine has better aim, autoshotgun because, and when bored take rhe Revolver and oneshot npcs My favorite probably the ap pistol as it shredds through NPCs, and I dont bother with pvp honestly

The Compact Rifle is my go to on missions when i just want to make things more realistic and challenge, its fun once you master it

Neither are overpowered, the micro is underpowered. Takes like 16 shots at close range to kill someone. Might as well throw it at them.
