This. The Oppressor Mk2 looked cool on paper, but it turned into the ultimate griefing/toxic tool that also made having any other vehicle pointless. I hope it doesn’t come back to GTA 6
The GTAO community being toxic is mostly a design problem IMO. Every game has people who want to compete and get ahead, but not every game tells one player to do a long grinding delivery mission while telling every other player "go mess them up for a pittance of cash and RP". People tend to take the paths that are laid out for them by a game's design, and Rockstar has expertly designed a game where most of the suggested paths are guaranteed to promote toxic playstyles. It requires skill and knowledge of the game's combat to win that kind of fight but sadly in gta you get 1 normal everyday truck while someone after grinding for like 12 hours or less can simply show up with a huge lazer piss from the heavens and smite you or a bike that shoots a barrage of missiles or just someone with a single roming rocket launcher. @@Ivorys_slushie some spy and military stuff can fit in and be cool as long as they aren't stupidly op or unrealistic imo. What I hate and think doesn't fit at all are any futuristic sc-ifi stuff it changes the whole feel of the game when people are using lasers and flying cars. It also sets up the game to have more wacky nonsense later because they will try to top it kind of like what happened with saints row they kept adding wackier and wackier things till it felt nothing like the OG games
Definitely do more vehicle breakdowns like this, they are extremely fun to watch. I kinda want to see the scramjet, deluxo, or maybe even some of the newer vehicles done next.
The editing was top notch, entertaining and high quality while also not being distracting. Very well done. As far as the vehicle itself goes, I hope Rockstar never implements something like the MK2 ever again, but I don't really hope that would be the case. I'm sure they made the vehicle like that to ensure Shark Card sales more than ever, and because the outrage would certainly bring attention to the game (and it worked, that's evil). If anything, the MK2 showed me that the main issue with GTAO's PVP is the over reliance on explosives in general.
I quit watching 3 minutes in because of how distracting it was. A lot of the edits completely distract from the script and audio commentary, and the loud sound effects certainly don't help. Entertaining and high quality? Absolutely. But it's not really suited for this kind of video I think. If anything it gives me the typical tiktok brainrot vibes. Feels like I'm being injected with dopamine every two seconds.
Honestly the quick edits, all the bright colors and the loud sound effects drowning him out were all too much, if this is what creators think is gonna keep attention, I really don’t wanna see what videos will look like in a couple years.
I've rarely used the MK2 in combat (against NPCs of course i'm not using this broomstick against players) and mainly used it as transporting means because, even after the nerfs it got, it's still doing pretty damn well at getting you from point A to B
Yeah usually just use it for heist set ups. Just flopping between that when ny sparrow spawn is on cooldown amd I'll spawn the sparrow when the oppressor is on cooldown.
Its nothing more than heist prep vehicle these days, one of the worst weaponized vehicles for fighting since it got nerfed and people who clearly dont play still think its OP. Stromberg has 10x betteer rockets this man does not play anymore.
I love this new editing style. Also great video. This vehicle shows that people will always come up with new strats to beat an "op" vehicle. Creating new metas which also sometimes makes vehicles considered bad viable like the nightshark or the moc cab. There are so many ways to beat this vehicle that you cant even count them all some better than others.
A weird strat me and a friend came up with is using the HSW Classic Turismo (or any fast car) to speed away from the MKII while the driver shoots flares when a missile is launched and the passenger throws sticky bombs at the Oppressor. it somehow works lol
The mk1 just needed the wheels to touch the “ground”. I used rooftops, hillsides and such to recharge it lol. It was a fun way to travel through the map looking for the best spots to recharge the boost without losing speed from the air.
I feel imani tech vehicles really took the shine from the night shark specifically the Buffalo STX it had armor, guns, and bulletproof windows to a certain extent but what really seperated the buffalo STX from the night shark was the missile lock jammer that was a gsme changer considering alot of vehicles in gtao has some type of missile weapon capability
As true as that is, the imani Tech cars were a bloody godsend. They made the game playable again, and had the added effect of exposing the absolute dog water players in this game, not just with the MK2, it even accounts for the Toreador, Deluxo, Ruiner 2000, Scramjet, Stromberg or any helicopter with homing missiles. Most of them are damn near impossible for most players to land a hit on.
@@caiuscosades1791 buffalo STX still my main go to vehicle💯as long as I got sticky bombs I'm fine i swear I fought oppressors, toreadors, night sharks, any aircraft in game, other Imani tech cars, deluxos, I even survived a few orbs hiding with this car in parking lots🤣💯tanks are tricky to deal with though only because they don't go down as easy as the rest because they pack a way bigger punch then missiles
Currently loving the Coureuse with the white sunstrip. As tough as a night shark, faster, missile lock jammer, and maneuverable beyond most anything else.
Soon as I got my hands on the opmk2 I noticed that I was using it for everything. Not to grief others but it was so fast, agile and good to protect myself. Without it I don’t think I would have achieved my $200M goal that fast or without giving up. Heck, I’ve even gone for 400M just for fun. However, I don’t like the vehicle at all. It still needs more nerfing.
@@brkenppt2222I agree with shimeih, I use it for missions but use it to get all the shit I need so I can get money to drive cars I should actually drive.
I used to like a good chase, when it's just someone that comes after me with a fast car and tries a drive-by. But the whole GTA Online arms race has taken the fun out of it if you ask me. I don't really care for all those weaponized vehicles and high tech tools. If someone griefs me with an oppressor, I'm not going through my whole arsenal and mastering the Nightlaser Jetshark or whatever. I just switch sessions and hope that players in the new one are more chill.
The oppressor MK2 made most if not all vehicles redundant this is one of the few reasons i stopped playing online i couldn't drive around on my regular motorcycles in peace being a former m.c roleplayer.
The Mark 1 was enough to make me lose interest in GTA Online. Mark 2 just buried it. I haven't played GTA Online in years. And that's coming from a person who had been hijacking and flying and vibing in stolen Lazer jets since _day one_ of GTA Online. Like me and my friends were among those who first discovered and exploited the fact that you can jump the fence into the military airfield from the highway without spawning too many enemies to stop you from hijacking it. I can deal with the oppressors, but they just get incredibly aggravating after a while no matter how successfully (or not) you kill them.
im going to be honest with you, this vehicle single handedly made me quit gta online and lose interest for the whole game for almost a whole year. with this bs bike there is really no interest in purchasing cars anymore, the vehicle passion is gone, tanks, jets, everything is screwed by this thing. since everyone wants to be competitive, them kids wanted this bad, and i know rockstar made a lot of money with it. but damn, the essence of all GTA was screwed by this thing. if GTA 6 comes with this thing , it will put me on a depression hill.
great vid and all points valid ! But for me being a money grinder mk2 is a blessing . The time needed for any task is reduced by 50%+ while using mk2 . And even if i came across some skilled player griefing me with the mk2 a good option is to go off the radar using rc bandito . It gives you all the time you need to evade a griefer or come up with a plan to kill them back
The oppressor MK2 problem is very hard to solve, I'm a level 42, and I already have kosatka, trying to get enough for the goddamn bike because it is perfect for missions, but because it's best for missions, makes it too good for pvp. If rockstar nerfed any of it's abilities, it would loose potential in PvP, but so in missions. The only thing making GTA online better would be removing it, even though we would've lost a great vehicle for missions, we could finally enjoy time with others, riding unarmoured cars around city
Only got a minute in so far and I can already see this is a banger and that no one making GTA videos comes even remotely close to your level of editing, bravo fr 👏. If u don't mind I gotta know, is there a lot of after-effects in use here? .. gave full viewing ofc. I really hate the mk2 but the only thing it is very useful in missions and getting across the map. I imagine the Toreador wasn't super effective against it prior to the mk2 nerf, now we're getting more toreador griefers in the lobbies. I rarely leave my nightshark and that gets pretty boring, however it is fun to down mk2 users with stickies, also taken out the odd jet. I'd say the best counters are the nightshark, imani-tech vehicles, toreador and just being a legend at sniping. Lastly watching two mk2 users trying to get each other is hilarious now. Loved seeing the South Park Professional 😂
Its a big mixture of Blender, Sony Vegas and general GTA footage, as well as making some animations by making cartoony versions of stuff photoshop then animating it all together with Vegas
@@Istura That's wild man, I can't imagine how long it would take to master such techniques. I feel like such an adobe premier noob 😂 It really is brilliant editing and great narration, I'm certain this one will do well.
One of my favourite things in the game is being chased by a griefer on a mk2 while I'm in a Virtue, they get very frustrated and sometimes you'll get a low skilled player chase you for 20mins with constant reloading, that's the jackpot, and making them follow you through tunnels and such and getting them with a proximity mine really angers them, but taking them out with a sticky bomb in mid air is pure poetry and makes a lot rage quit the session, you get the odd player who is ridiculously good at free aiming mk2 missiles but they're extremely rare and a virtue can take a lot of hits too.
Finally, a video in this community that's got substance! It's been a while since I've bothered to click on any gtao video. This editing is so professional! When did you jump this far man?! Keep up your great work man 🙏
Fist time watching one of your videos, and it was really nice and enjoyable to watch, keep up the work. I am new to GTA and it was interesting and informative but also funny. Really really good video. I only comment on really good videos. xd
in terms of all out pvp against one or even multiple players the night shark is by far the best vehicle to use. virtually immune to rockets and explosive ammo and cannon, its fast, and with good free aim mk2s that get to close can be handled with a sticky bomb or a well placed heavy revolver shot.
one surprising counter to MKs that i found during my time playing gta was the Chernobog. Sure it's not practical to pull one out at any given time just to shoot down one MK2, but if there's several MK2s harassing the lobby, you can go off radar, set up the chernobog and let it's immense range, 5-missile salvo and good tracking take care of the rest. the chernobog is like pulling out an S-400 to kill a fly. most MK2 spammers use Flares instead of chaff and at most might block 4 out of the 5 missiles, only for that 5th to get them and another 5 to start flying. it works especially well if you're working with friends tokeep the MK2 spammers distracted while you set up at a new location to keep the airspace locked for whenever they're able to spawn another mk2
Ironically I found that the Raiju heavy couters the oppressor MKII. Not only are you faster and can bascially climb vertically straight up but you also can sneak up to the oppressor fire your missiles then go back to stealth mode. And if that fail, legit just ram them 😂. Its actually really fun to do that, albeit a little hard.
Yeah the raiju is a God sent oppressor killing machine between its incredible speed and maneuverability and its devastating weapons and stealth system it is a nightmare for oppressor griefers to overcome. When it first came out I took to the skies and went griefer hunting and was consistently taking them out even if they could get a lock the raiju is a little faster than the missiles in just a slight turn angle. I love that jet because it takes skill and effort to use it effectively rely on the vtol too much you get shot down don't master the timing of a shot you miss don't master the air speed to maneuverability ratio you'll crash into the side of a building. It really changed the game on how to deal with griefers.
Can I also say that if you put each of the three aspects on a scale of 1-100, the Mk2 probably has a total rating north of 240. IMO, anything more than about 180-200 total is probably unbalanced. If you wanted the Mk2 balanced with this, it'd have something like 90-100 agility, 60-70 offense, and like 20-40 defense. A "hit and run" type, if you will. With the added downsides of low ammo count and a spawn timer if destroyed since it'd be so annoying and STILL pretty damn good, regardless.
Funny enough I love my MK2, but I always used mine for missions and getting around quick. Believe it or not I never griefed with it, like. Ever! I would always lock onto randoms but would never fire. Most of the time I had missile lock off. The proof is that I’ve been playing since online in 2014 and never even been close to dodgy player. Great video though
Remember, using the faggio is faster than reloading ur mk2
Remember, using the Faggio is infinitely more based than touching a MK2
And it’s a lot more classy as well
its like in gta 4 online races when you die you respawn with faggio lmao
“Ramirez switch to your pistol it’s faster then reloading”

It requires skill and knowledge of the game's combat to win that kind of fight but sadly in gta you get 1 normal everyday truck while someone after grinding for like 12 hours or less can simply show up with a huge lazer piss from the heavens and smite you or a bike that shoots a barrage of missiles or just someone with a single roming rocket launcher.
I hope gta 6 online adapts the system of being able to also help the person doing these kinds of mission instead of only being able to kill them and that the game stays grounded in reality too.and yes Althought its fun to have the deluxo (sorry if i got the name wrong), the oppressor mk.1 and veichles like that, i really hope they dont come back. Along side all the weird spy and military stuff added to the game because really thats not what gta is (at least for me)
TLDR: Gta needs a better system to reward people for helping others and all the crazy and wacky stuff needs to go away in the sequel.
Bro dropped the coldest oppressor mk II edit and didn’t give us a blanket 🥶🥶🔥🔥
@@ScyrousFX Agreed
Honestly the quick edits, all the bright colors and the loud sound effects drowning him out were all too much, if this is what creators think is gonna keep attention, I really don’t wanna see what videos will look like in a couple years.
@@ScyrousFX I was following along fine maybe you guys just got that tik tok attention span
Rockstar is becoming the new EA
I've rarely used the MK2 in combat (against NPCs of course i'm not using this broomstick against players) and mainly used it as transporting means because, even after the nerfs it got, it's still doing pretty damn well at getting you from point A to B
use a bloody plane or a heli, thats what they are for, not a bitch ass flying bike thafuck
Yep an oppresser escort is best sometimes I use my vtol jet but it to slow and fast
Yeah usually just use it for heist set ups. Just flopping between that when ny sparrow spawn is on cooldown amd I'll spawn the sparrow when the oppressor is on cooldown.
if i was rockstar i would ban MK bikes, deluxos etc on freeroam. They are just tryhard griffing vehicles
@@FishermanKyle
Right?? Gave me Spider-Man vibes tbh
The production value of this video is utterly flabbergasting
Goddamn. The production value is insane!
Honestly, this is giving me some astro soup flashbacks and thats amazing, keep it up.
yes!!!! just thoght about this!! so sweet to hear again so lovely songs in the background and the footage and the style of the narrative
This was amazingly edited. You have been of my favourite gta content creators for years. Cheers man
I feel imani tech vehicles really took the shine from the night shark specifically the Buffalo STX it had armor, guns, and bulletproof windows to a certain extent but what really seperated the buffalo STX from the night shark was the missile lock jammer that was a gsme changer considering alot of vehicles in gtao has some type of missile weapon capability
@@caiuscosades1791 I see no lies in this statement 💯
@@BoSwanglezYT honestly I will swear by the Omnis E-GT. It's saved my bacon more times than I can count.
That being said, I still watched this vid and I loved the presentation Istura, many chuckles throughout, much appreciated!
Good way to ruin gta for you. Do everything on your flying broomstick, zomming thru the map
@@brkenppt2222 it’s fast and good for missions so good for money. I can drive my tuned cars now that I have all the money I can ever need.
@@brkenppt2222I agree with shimeih, I use it for missions but use it to get all the shit I need so I can get money to drive cars I should actually drive.
@@brkenppt2222”good way to ruin gta for you.” Lmao, shut up bro.
Whats the point of using those great vehicles when you have already achieved your goals.
The Man, The Myth, THE LEGEND!! Good to see a new video bro. A banger as always!
Amazing editing bro, can't wait to watch more videos with this style.
I sense the quality of your videos has skyrocketed, Keep it up Istura!
Your editing is a crazy upgrade since I last watched you man, probably the best I've seen in gta online since astro soup.
I‘m german and this is one of the best GTA Videos I‘ve ever seen so far. None of the german "GTA RUclipsrs" put so much effort in their videos…
Way to go man. This is your best video yet in my opinion
Amazing video dude, love the new editing!
Brilliant video ! Loved the editing !
This is a great video! The editing and the story telling is just so good! Definitely deserves a like.
Also remember if you go in a tunnel in an tanky vehicle, you can drive into the mk 2 causing itself to blow itself up
The editing was really good, amazing video as always!
This video is so incredibly edited, great work you done there
you can see the expense every second watching further into the video!
i love the new editing style hope you continue like that
This was extremely well and flowed incredibly 👏👏👏👏
dude this editing is insane. really creative and unique. I wish all the best for you mate
The editing is incredible i rarely see great vids like that
Since yesterday I have sold my oppressor mk2 and now I have quit my drug porn alcohol cigarette and vape addiction
I love this edit style, it’s so much more fun to watch (I actually couldn’t click off the video before it was over)
"When the world needed him most, he returned"
Wtf the editing on this is crazy especially for a fictional flying bike inside a videogame well done...
I used to be a rat on the mk2 blowing people up now I am a grinder I sold my mk2 and now I am a proud mk1 user
Similar story for me however my twist off is with a scramjet lol
Just use the faggio. Cheap and reliable
I bought the Oppressor Mk 2 when I was new to GTA (Claimed a bunch of PS+ bonuses), I mainly use it for travel and any setups for robberies/heists
Instant like because of the new editing style, keep up the good work
The oppressor MK2 made most if not all vehicles redundant this is one of the few reasons i stopped playing online i couldn't drive around on my regular motorcycles in peace being a former m.c roleplayer.
This will bl0w up, trust me this needs more attention!.
I can see this video blowing up (becoming relevant) in 30 years when historians want to take a glance at revolutionary factory which is gta v 😂
Revolutionary factory?
The hell are you on about?
This video was so well put together. Great visuals.
that intro is so much cooler than i thought it would be
Bro dropped Perfect explanation and Edit skills!!!
For everybody who uses the Op mk2 for grinding and travelling only, u Are a *LEGEND*
The editing on this is masterful!
this is my first time watching this channel, i’m a minute and a half in and the production is insanity
We always live when istrua uploads
Finnaly i was waiting alot for this lets gooo
This editingstyle is sooo cool🔥🔥🔥
i love how u made the professional's mouth move like some south park characters (I.E Ike or Terry & Phillip)
i love that detail!
im going to be honest with you, this vehicle single handedly made me quit gta online and lose interest for the whole game for almost a whole year. with this bs bike there is really no interest in purchasing cars anymore, the vehicle passion is gone, tanks, jets, everything is screwed by this thing. since everyone wants to be competitive, them kids wanted this bad, and i know rockstar made a lot of money with it. but damn, the essence of all GTA was screwed by this thing.
if GTA 6 comes with this thing , it will put me on a depression hill.
Now it's a grinders best friend rather than a pvp monster
wow just came across this channel and fair play some effort gone into this video! editing is top notch!
I love your style of videos of mixing comedy and GTA gameplay, really funny stuff.🙂
Every day Istura uploads is a good day. Love the nee editing style btw
great vid and all points valid ! But for me being a money grinder mk2 is a blessing . The time needed for any task is reduced by 50%+ while using mk2 . And even if i came across some skilled player griefing me with the mk2 a good option is to go off the radar using rc bandito . It gives you all the time you need to evade a griefer or come up with a plan to kill them back
this video feels like a documentary. and i fucking love it
The hotline miami music makes it even better.
great vid as always m8 but could do without the sounds of an AI's soul getting shredded into oblivion that sound effect was just awful 1:31
sick video man, great editing also 🔥🔥
The oppressor MK2 problem is very hard to solve, I'm a level 42, and I already have kosatka, trying to get enough for the goddamn bike because it is perfect for missions, but because it's best for missions, makes it too good for pvp. If rockstar nerfed any of it's abilities, it would loose potential in PvP, but so in missions. The only thing making GTA online better would be removing it, even though we would've lost a great vehicle for missions, we could finally enjoy time with others, riding unarmoured cars around city
@concernedcitizen9623 true
Even though I knew everything in this video already it was fun to watch great video bro
Keep up your great work man 🙏
Just been learning a few new techniques and tools over these last few months 😎
@@Isturayou did a great job making this masterpiece
Fist time watching one of your videos, and it was really nice and enjoyable to watch, keep up the work.
I am new to GTA and it was interesting and informative but also funny. Really really good video.
I only comment on really good videos.
xd
in terms of all out pvp against one or even multiple players the night shark is by far the best vehicle to use. virtually immune to rockets and explosive ammo and cannon, its fast, and with good free aim mk2s that get to close can be handled with a sticky bomb or a well placed heavy revolver shot.
I remember seeing the leaks of the mk2 and being so excited… didn’t know it’d be the scorn of every session for years on end
very nice blender animations and very nice gui‘s. But i would keep both of them a little low at the begining. Overall very good video.
one surprising counter to MKs that i found during my time playing gta was the Chernobog.
I think this is is the VSauce. Just for GTA.
Istura = certified pog
Great vid great editing and hope you do do more vehicle vids
As Bruce Lee said "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times"
@@charles24852 Reminds me of the Pyro too, where you just straight up fly at them and missile spam them then climb vertically while firing flares.
Editing was great bro, and vid was fun as well 👍👍

Awesome video and editing. Subscribed!
The greatest mystery to me, is why Rockstar never actually removed the Mark 2 from the game.
Money. Kids will spend over a hundred bucks of gift money on shark cards just to have one in game.
amazing editing
well done itsura :3
You got to make more of these if you have the time.
