Thank you for this video. I'm very happy that you took the time to go slow so that beginners can follow along. I have watched several videos and they were all horrible. People didn't explain what they were doing, they went too fast, and their angles were horrible for seeing what was going on. This is really what I needed to help me get started.
once i saw mickey, i relaxed. he is always so clear and relaxed! aahhh
@kimbercarter88 It's a yarn guide to help keep tension even. You can make one from an ink pen (take apart and use the 'tube') or a thick drinking straw cut to about 5".
i could watch you all day long Mickey i have enjoyed your videos from blanket making and to all diff patterns and now to Loom wow love that stitch thank you so much from DOWN UNDER ADELAIDE SOUTH AUSTRALIA.....CHEERS!!!...MATE GOOD ONYA COBBER
Thank you so much for posting this! This was the most exact video out there. I just started my scarf based on your instructions:)
Thank you for making this video. Until now I haven't been able to figure this out. With this video which is the clearest instruction I have ever seen I am now knitting on a rectangular loom and loving it.
so much easier to follow than others. great.
I love the little tool they use to wrap. I made my own with a hollowed out pen. U can decorate them too.
WOW This video has been one of the most clearest and made professionally thanks alot !!!! u helped me on what i didnt knew.
I want this loom stand! :D
Great job...made me understand what to do!
This is the most relaxing video I've ever seen!
Could you please include other size loom tutorials ? I just don't do well with written instructions😕
This is neat, I want to try this
I can't tell you how helpful this is. thank you. I'd like to know where you got (or how you rigged) the loom holder. I can see that as an issue as the piece begins to take on length. a holder would be super cool.
I been having that problem as well.
this song is soooooo peaceful I wish they would have posted the song name and the tutorial is awesome

Thank you! I was trying to teach myself how to knit with needles, but couldn't figure it out so thought I would try a loom.
I don't understand why so many tutorials show the beginning only. Why not show how to start, do rows and then cut to the end on how to finish? What does a scarf using this stitch look like? What is the stitch called?
UnicornTears figure 8 double stitch is what this is called so google it and you will see the outcome.
love the video and was wondering where to purchase the wooden guide stick and what it's proper name for the tool is...thank you
Me too. I looked k up excuisite concepts but no luck
When you have wrapped up and back enough times that the pegs are completely covered by the yarn, what do you do at that point to finish longer prourcts like scarf purse etc?
Hello : As another person who asked why never show a finished project ? Please
Can you show the end result to see how it looked like.and how did you cast off?
yes
Hi i like the demo but i would like to know that if there is a way to just use one side? Do you have a video for the one side of the loom? Please let me know.
thanks jp
I just wanna see how it looks like when its done.. may you can share a photo
Hi, do you have a video showing the bind off on a rectangular loom? please
Help I'm trying the double knitting for the first time and its crazy loose. I feel like im casting on correctly but mine looks nothing like it should. Any tips on what I might be doing wrong?
how do you cast off?
Please tell me where you got your loom knitting stand, I would love to get one.
What is the name of the tool you are using to weave the yarn around the pegs?
It's a loom
If you are talking about the “pen” looking thing. It looks like a empty pen that has the ends taken out
I love the video but am wondering where you got the loom holder. ??
I just got my first loom kit yesterday i cant wait to start on a project. I dont know how to start this looks easy. I got a huge loom im thinking a baby blanket can this stitch work? I also seen a stitch going around each peg whats the differences?
vidgirl4444 yes this is a tight knit so itll keep your baby really warm
can someone please tell me what this stitch is called - is it called the "double knit stitch"? thank you~
Norma Crespin figure 8 double stitch
Can someone please answer me . How many to rd do I repeat this? I'm trying to my a baby blanket help please. Read my question and respond please .
I’m not super sure-but if you are using this width and not combining multiple squares-I’d say at least 200 rows. So you’d repeat about 200 times.
Hi Mikey what is the tool you use to wrap wool as my tension too tight thank you
MegaSheeba has a good question....did you make the stand....and what about that wood stick....where do you find those too?
What size is the loom and how many skeins are needed?
Thank you for your video eager to get started.
Love watching you guys!! wher can I get a Loom Holder?? Thanks Guys !!
Chandler
What is that thing you threaded the yarn into and where can we get the stand? Thanks!
I tried to read an instruction sheet and gave up.... that's why I'm here. :)
Great tutorial! What is that tube you drew the yarn through?
Hi, thanks for watching! That's just a plastic tube for easier application. You can probably even use a straw!
Thanks! I tend to make my stitches too tight. I think that would help me.
I'm making dog sweaters, I have no problem with the round looms but even the largest round loom is too small for my dogs so I have the rectangle ones does anyone have a dog sweater pattern using the rectangle looms thank you so much
G'DAY MICKEY I WAS LOOKING AT YOUR STAND CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME CAN I BUY ONE OR HAVE YOU MADE IT YOURSELF IF YOU HAVE YOU SHOULD SELL TO US AS IT LOOKS SO GOOD
Great tutorial!!! Where can I get that loom please? Thanks so much.
How do you bind off?
kairi8394 you have to sew it in with the needle they provide in loom packets
Where did you get the Stand that is holding the loom?
Thank you for this video. Can you tell me where I can get the loom stand?
How are the Pegs on the end of the loom used?
claire laliberte for you to wrap around the end of the yarn so it doesn’t come loose when you are getting the second yarn over the first loop.
so you just keep repeating this and you end up with a scarf?
105lauren pretty much and when you have the length you want remove all the loops from the legs get that “needle” that comes in the loom knot packet and see the ends off
THANK YOU!!!!! lol
