Randy Travis nearly passed away from a stroke several years ago. He sadly has permanent brain damage, and the tubes they had to put in his throat permanently destroyed his vocal chords. But, a few weeks ago he finally put out a new song for the first time since he had a stroke. They used another singer and changed his voice into Randy's voice using AI. There's a video about it. The song is called "Where that Came From". This age of AI that we're entering into is scary, but this is one instance in which it's used for good. He's finally able to produce music again.. As a long time fan of his that's very familiar with his voice, I couldn't tell that it was AI.

They did, saw a news story about it and I found it disturbing for its implications. Somebody, not Randy, wrote a song and they brought in a singer who sang like Randy to sing the song. Ran that through a program that's sampled Randy's songs and you get a result that sounds like Randy. But it's not. People around him are happy with it and it's making money for everybody, but I wonder how Randy really feels when he hears that song he knows he never sang and will never perform it for an audience, which is what it's all about in the end.

I can relate to sometimes being cold. It's a way to protect the heart. Our first date was late March, we married in September and 34 years later I still feel like I won the husband lottery! I wish for everyone to find that kind of love.😊
