I think 2024 is definitely the year where Rogue and Gambit finally got their time in the sun and they both turned out amazing and I’m really glad I have them in my minifigure collection thanks to the X-Mansion
This definitely was the year of gambit. He was loved in X-Men 97’, a fan favorite in D&W, and a key draw for the X-Mansion. I really hope we see more of him!
Here’s my take on the rubber capes vs cloth. Rubber are more realistic and closer to the body. Cloth are more flexible and easy to put into positions like blowing in the wind. My solution: Mandolorian capes! They don’t stick out as much, hugs the body, and feels realistic, while still being able to “pose” or “flex.” Just my opinion.
The Tracer hair from overwatch on gambit looks more like his 97 look and is a cool "upgrade" if you have it! I really want a green shirtless drax and mire comics versions of characters
I’ve always wanted a comic Magneto so the new one is my favourite from the X-Mansion, however I hate the rubber capes so I switched his with the cloth one from the X-Jet and it looks way better

Hi Jonathon, I have a question for you. Let’s say hypothetically you have a rare minifigure in your collection but you’re not sure all of the body parts are the original ones for that figure, does the value of the figure change? Like for example, if you had a figure and you at some point swapped out the hands for a different set of hands that were the same color. It still looks like the out of the box figure, but you just don’t know for sure it’s exactly the same. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
