@@garybraasch2203 sorry boys. Since I made the comment, I bought a 2000 shadow, enjoyed my time with it but it was too slow, too small and too much of a copy of an American bike. I now have an Indian scout and love it so much more. If you can find a shadow to buy and sell within a year as a first bike, can’t recommend a better option. But don’t buy as it as a long term bike, you’ll grow out of it quickly.

@@garybraasch2203 couldn’t recommend the Indian scout sixty enough. Mild enough to start on with enough power to grow into and keep for a long while. However if you’re on a limited budget find a used shadow for a few thousand, ride it til you’re ready to upgrade and sell it for what you bought it for and move up.
The seating position of a cruiser is more comfortable in my opinion, and this bike has more power. Nothing against the Ninja 250, its a great starter bike. I just enjoyed the bigger engine and riding position of the Shadow a little more. Good luck on whatever you choose!

6 yr old ad to sell bike! (1) RUclips should ban "for sale" ads. (2) 6 yrs!! It should be the responsibility of vendors to remove their ads. (3) RUclips should monitor such ads and cause their removal;. (4) RUclips has filters to seek out removal of sexual and "how to build ..." - why not "for sale" ads?
Dam I just paid 3600 for same bike but it had 4000 miles a fairing windshield a better seat with bitch bar dressed up better exhust ect... I thought it was a magna dealer lied to me can you believe that lol...
I love these bikes .... so fun to ride ! ( as long as you have a mustang seat ) stock seats hurt ur butt !
