Welcome and its hard to disagree, I also dislike the new notification panel 😔 notifications even from the same app are spaced out, and it looks cluttered.
I prefer the new notification panel and icons. Personal preference.
Protect this man at all cost! Not only did he sacrifice his settings to make a factory reset for icon size comparision. He really looks into our needs and brings out so much infos and solutions for the (normal) end user/consumer. Besides that, all is well expained and shown. I'm super happy to have the OneUi 5.1 sized icons back. He really hit the sweet spot with the size-slider for the icons. Thanks a lot, man! ❤

I can't express how thankful I am for you!! This whole update I was wondering why it looked like my screen was bigger than what it was. I had already changed my font size but that wasn't the problem. The whole time the screen was zoomed in just a little. And now it fits back perfectly! THANK YOU!! 🎉😅

Thanks so much for this! Hated the new look, couldn't see anybfix and wasn't happy about having to download an app to sort it but it has worked a treat!! Icons are even smaller for me now and I really like how it looks. Top work!!

Good instructional! I want to add since the creator reset his phone to make the example on changing icons sizes, it does not explain how to do that with a custom loaded icon pack. If you want to make the pack, you have already return to the smaller size that One UI. 6.0 defaulted to mega-icon size, do this; when you get to the part where you click "create new" in Theme Park/Icons, click on the iconpack choice at the top, then choose the pack you have already loaded. If you do not, the default Samsung icons will get loaded. Then resize it and rename it again, then apply.

When you use method #1 and you used an icon pack (from samsung directly or 3rd party), you can load that by pressing the button left to the saving button once for loading the icon pack and second time for getting back to the menu where you can choose the icon size - thanks to the creator of this video

goodlock theme park no longer have changing icon size
I know, it's gone to homeup module, but you can only decrease the size to 80% that's nowhere near how small they went on theme park gutted,
I've got a new phone and i wanted it to look exactly the same with regards to the apps sizes,
I just can't get used to it the apps that size, even with 80% and 7x7 app grids still isn't as small as theme park used to get them,

How do I reduce the icon size and also use the colour palette? If I use colour palette, the icons become default size, but if I use theme park to make the icons smaller then the colour palette disappears
When I do this on my Fold5 it only resizes the apps and leaves the folder size big. How can I change the size of the folders as well? Thanks!

Thank you, bro, you can still download GoodLock, download a VPN, remove your SIM from the phone, clear the cache of galaxy store and connect with the VPN and you should be able to download GoodLock.

I dont know how to say this cuz i dont speak soo well eng, so, if u see your your desktop the folder only show 3x3 icons inside before click, before this update, the home up customs this. Do you know how to back to show more icons inside the folder before click?

Sir, I'm using Samsung F14 5G smartphone which is currently running on Android 14 & One UI 6.0 & there is no option for me to download Good Lock & Home Up Apps via Galaxy Store?!!! Can you please provide me an alternative options as Good Lock is N/A & any other options in/via One UI 6.0 itself...?!? My purpose is to change the Icon Size & Shape & add more layers like in Home Up app options....

How come my grooped icons are larger than the single icons? The size stays larger.

I wanna go the other way. My icons are too small out of the box on SOny Xperia. There is no option to adjust app icon size. Android 14
When I go to the Home Page on Home Up, I do not have the options of Home Screen Grid, Apps Screen Grid, or Favorites Max Count. My screen starts the the Loop pages. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. How do I get these to show up?

Hey, I just spend couple of minutes looking for an option to get rid of device control, smart view etc.. but could not find it, seems like those toggles are there permanently, hope to see GoodLock come up with a way to hide these.

Probably the only thing I disliked about this update 😅 I wish they had given us a built-in option to tweak the icon size, that would save us the hassle of installing Good Lock.

Software update changed my UI to 6.0.
None of your options worked. Playstore only has Good Lock Premium which is very different. I tried the home screen settings option, but mine looks very different and does 3:19 not have grid settings option.
Charlie, i installed One UI 6.1 now my swipe gestures are gone. You have any idea of a fix for that?

Man, i have galaxy a54 and got the ui6 from odin. My icon size still so small. I hate it. Have to use nova launcher to make them bigger.
Seems like a bug! its too big on S23 and small on a54, should be the other way around.
You can also change every aspect of the icon size and fonts in Developer options under settings.
I have developer options, I do not find any setting to do this

I just checked, i've got the option to delete/uninstall apps. But this wont appear for system apps.

Sadly making an icon pack in goodlock makes it so you can't change the colors of the icons with the theme so yeah, thanks samsung, you actually managed to disappoint me
Yeah, its so annoying!! big icons on such a huge screen is annoying, there will never be a real 'fix' to it unless Samsung tweaks it in the software.
I’m so excited for one ui 6 specifically for the big icons. I’ve always felt the icons were too small on the homescreen personally. Glad they have Goodlock settings for people who liked the original size.

I actually prefer the big icons. I think they add to the clean look. It scales more naturally with the large screen, and "feels" more satisfying to interact with. If the icons are smaller, you get more of them yes but it also looks kinda cluttered and it just doesn't look quite right to me. Reminds me of when I used to fool with Nova Launcher and many others, changing a thousand things, small icons and all but it never really felt and looked right with the rest of the phone so just went back to stock anyway lol.
