I was watching this video and getting frustrated as I still had not gotten the One UI 6 update. I decided to go to software update in settings and BOOM it started downloading. Now I need to go back and watch your other videos to catch up. Charlie you are the best. Thanks for all you do for us.
Same thing happened to me and I have my phone set to auto download all updates 🤔
Finally, that sounds good! Quite a few things have changed in One UI 6.
@@solitaryguy54 The auto download will take some time to start automatically downloading the update even after it becomes available on your device.

Great video Charlie Tech i always learn something new whenever i watch you, is there anyway i can get the Good Lock app to download on my phone? because it's not available in the country i live.
Thank you, Ingrid. There is a way you can still get GoodLock, but you will need to use a VPN to connect to a country where GoodLock is available, remove your SIM card, clear Galaxy Store's cache and that should allow you to download GoodLock.
Might want to look up for a tutorial on how to do this, I wish I could make a video, but its already available here.

I have a question... when I open the goodlock app, enter the home up and open the task changer to change the layout, now I can only choose between the list or grid, but I was able to use the stack layout before.

Hey Charlie...I follow your channel and watch all your videos to the S23U. After my s23u arrived your stuff was so helpful to set it up. It's a very great device but I have one big issue with it...maybe you can help?
If I start any streaming app the device stops after 3min. You start a music app lay the device on the table...device goes in standby...2min later music is off. Very annoying...especially while work out. I tried everything in the settings. App management(apps which doesn't goes in standby) or in the battery settings
..
Nothing works. For some reason RUclips and RUclipsmusic works while lockscreen is on.

I actually wanted to cover this exact thing in the video, but didn't because it would have crossed 15 minutes, what's happening is the phone puts apps to sleep.
To prevent this, you wanna go into battery settings, then tap on Background usage limits and add your music app to never auto sleeping apps, that will solve the problem of music turning off after the phone goes to standby!

@@TechGuyCharlie You can also go to ""Apps" under Settings, choose your particular app, select Battery and then "Unrestricted". This also prevents the app from sleeping, although it is worth mentioning that this will make the app run in the background constantly, which might affect battery life.
@TechGuyCharlie I've try your tip and the tip under yours. Still don't work. I use 3 apps. RUclips...a streaming app and a app for local radio stations. I've tested it 5 times in a row. When I turn off my phone and lay it beside me the app stopps exact after 2min 30 sek.
Than I've to tap play on the lockscreen and it works again. Only RUclips work as intended. I put booth apps in "never standby" in the settings. I've also tried the tip in the battery section.
Maybe it's because of the apps...because RUclips and RUclips music works for hours.

Reduce blur to 0%. It will work
I actually didnt make any changes to it, its always been transparent. Do you have a theme applied? Try applying the default system theme and see if it becomes transparent.
Do we have performance profile on samsung s21 fe .
I dont think so, performance profile was introduced with the Flip and Fold 4, so every phone released before these dont have it, even the S22 Ultra does not have this feature.
@@TechGuyCharlie actually it was s21fe which needed this the most, battery drains like tap water.....
I agree!! But the S21 FE has Snapdragon 888 isn't it? Still experiencing battery issues?
I remember battery backup was bad on S21+ because of Exynos, ended up selling the phone.
@@TechGuyCharlie ys with 888 also the battery is draining- what according to you is an ideal sot with using it indoors- youtube + whatsapp+ zoom calls - connected to wifi , no 5g, no location turned, brightness ~ 25%, no games

Hey, this feature works with widgets that are of similar size and dimension, if you drag and drop different size widgets, then it wont work, sorry should have mentioned this 😁

Isn't that so selfish i don't know what country you are in but It's not available in the country i live in eighter Samsung needs to release it in every country that buys there phone it seem as if good lock have most of the cool customization...
All features are not available on all Galaxy phones.
