As soon as he started singing and I instantly started FEELING the emotion and reacting, I thought, "This guy should BE 'someone'." So, still choked with/by tears, I dashed to Google him and then saw, oh, he's from Evan Hansen and oh, he's done this other stuff, and was thrilled to see that he already *is* "someone" and that his talent has already been recognized and lauded and he's been given the attention that someone with this kind of talent deserves. And I just love the joy on the faces of his backup singers. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Catch his May 2017 interview with Colbert. He was young , inexperienced and nervous. But Colbert handled him beautifully and that interview turned out be great. 2 years later He probably remembers that.
