I have a one too that barely takes air........................the first two notes are very hard to produce. I hate it.

Is the block in the middle of twz made of wood?
And I want to know the difference between al jo and xl1.

Hi! Yes I think it's blackwood. The main difference to the XL1 is the body material and maybe the finish. The Al-Jo is made of silver nickle (Neusilber) and the XL1 is made of brass

99 euro to 139 euro is pretty expensive for a very simple whistle, you could buy a satanta whistle for that price

Sure, but all whistles are simple in construction. The crucial concern is tone. I have a brass Satanta in C which is very sweet. This TWZ may be of comparable quality and worth the price.
