I stopped paying into my railway pension 5 years ago, so I buy a piece of gold instead. People told me I was foolish but I’ve spent approx £2800 a year so about £14k so far. It’s worth at least 23k at the moment and I just found out that the railway pension are having problems with future pay outs.... not to mention I believe that the uk government will tax more on pension payouts. Best call I’ve made, protects well against a very tempestuous currency market.
Incredible collection. I agree with what you said about collecting and variety. To me, this is far more impressive than simply having 5 tubes of AGE (not that I'd turn up my nose to those). You are very blessed, congrats!
I see you were very wise with a lot of money.... not all of us could do that... On a small senior's pension over the past 3 years I have managed to buy 9 ounces of gold... it was hard and I had to make sacrifices... I tried to get 10 ounces by the end of last year, but couldn't quite make it... living hand to mouth... I am still trying to sell off personal items to buy more... Now it's January 2021, so you probably have a lot more...
I hope you all had a wonderful 2019 and looking forward to having a great 2020.... Little did any of us know what lay ahead!! Great stack. Watched this video over and over.
My o my ! What a beautiful stash of gleaming gold. It’s all so beautiful and precious. You’ve got some awesome pieces and it’s a pleasure to look at and dream......one day, hopefully I’ll have at least one piece. Something to look forward to, maybe it should be my 2020 New Years resolution. Hmmmm, sounds good to me. 👍
What an AMAZING stack of gold. My goal is 100 ounces. You'll get there with your coin on the way. So cool. I have a long way to go yet. Well done sir. I LOVE that MS65+ 1907 Saint. The cartwheeling on that one is incredible! I love the variety too. It makes it fun!!
Amazing collection, I've subscribed to SalivateMetals for the past 8 years, awesome channel with original content and I understand what you mean with the Royal Mint. I'm British but prefer collecting from most other mints.
That is beyond impressive. Only wish I had the funds to purchase a bunch of Gold coins. Have a decent Silver collection, but yet to buy (or swap) for some Gold. Trying to get at least one Gold Eagle for my son. Update (3/28/21)...finally started my shift to Gold, and have been able to add 3 ozs so far, and plan on adding many more in the future. When he’s old enough, I hope to have $100,000 worth of Silver & Gold for him. If I had to stash that money away in a savings account, it would almost certainly never happen. Purchasing the Silver & Gold coins plays right in to my collecting addiction. Awesome for me, but extremely beneficial for him.
Good Golly Miss Molly what an incredible collection guess you need to get 3.25 more ounces at this point! Lol Thanks for the Show! Happy New Years!!!🥳🥳🥳
To James Lovelace perfect analyses! When i was a kid My grandfather gave me 100 little napoleons and Leopolds of 5,8 gram each because i was the only one of his grandkids who went to university. At that time gold was at 5,000 usd for one kg! Now gold is at 50,000 euro a kilo! In 33 years it worth was x 10 or + 900% He told me that since the time that he bought the gold in mid 1960 , it was up x4 So it means that since 1965 it surged 45 to 50 times ( 4'000 to 5'000% That's quiet a bit for death money. Compare with purchase power of usd !
Wow, now that’s a golden flex! I was thinking about getting my first piece of gold, you just made it official. Beautiful collection thanks for sharing, you’ve got a new subscriber!
Awesome gold stack! I believe I’m sitting at just over a ounce. This is amazing 👍 definitely trying to focus more on gold than silver in 2020. Keep stacking💪
That is a wonderful collection of gold! My goal is 100oz someday years and years from now, but you are pretty much there in this video which I am sure you have surpassed by now! Thanks for sharing such an amazing gold stack!
Just beautiful! I just got into PMS end of Feb when all this craziness was starting. Not the best time but I figured with all the unknowns in the near future I cashed out my modest investments in the stock market and purchased my first collection of gold and silver bullion to protect my cash until things cool off and we have a better idea on what to expect. I cant wait to get to the point where I have accumulated as much gold as you. I wish I had exposed myself to this earlier. You cant really appreciate the beauty and detail until it's in your hand and you own it. I can see my obsession growing in front of my eyes. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on a very nice stack 👌
@Robbo Chaplin im not 100% sure yet. I have just under 2 ounces of gold and about 75oz of silver. Im still learning but I enjoy having both so for now I will continue to stack both. Its hard to accumulate gold as fast as silver for obvious reasons. Lol
Merry Christmas and happy new year to you too. Have a great 2020. With all that gold a good year should not be a problem. A very very impressive stack of gold. It all does look beautiful. Some very nice sovereigns there too.
That is a stack alright. Wow. And you talk about it so casually. My stack is "growing". I have 5 pieces and the biggest is am apmex 10g bar. The rest are reasonable too, apart from my 1g piece. I've got a Sovereign coming which I'll be uploading as soon as I get it, an unboxing I suppose. Right now there's a fall in the price of gold and I can get a Sov for €375 with free shipping. Bullion l by post is pretty good here in these parts. Great video man, love the stack. Liked and subbed.
3 kilo of gold. Now that's what i call a stack. I am almost at 30 ounces and i can only dream of reaching 96 ounces that's some dedication and a lot of privation well done sir. I see that you only miss year of the horse for completing the perth mint serie 2 these are my favorite.
Some very beautiful coins in your collection you must be proud I’m sure it would’ve taken great discipline and sacrificed to get that load together congratulations👍
Wow... that's quite a stack!.... yes, I bet you had fun collecting all that... I only started with my first gold purchase in October of 2018 and my first coin was a one ounce gold Canadian Maple... In my opinion my ugliest gold coin... but... I was new to stacking and didn't realize what I want to buy is beautiful coins... so I guess I am not just a stacker to preserve wealth, but I am a collector of beautiful coins... I have collected the entire Queen's Beast series in gold and silver ... one more to go... Love the Geiger square coins but only have one in silver so far. Perth Mint offers many beautiful designs... Wish I had been able to get the first rectangle dragon in gold, but at least I got the 2019 and the 2020 in both gold and silver of those... As an old lady on a pension I have a pretty small budget to buy with... but I keep on as I think it is a good way to spend... ( much better than buying Hermes handbags in my view )
Nice stack, gold is beautiful whether it is bullion or numismatic. I can't bear to get rid of any of mine even if it does hit $3,000 an ounce. My collection is very similar to yours, I like variety. I have about a third bullion mainly just bars and coins I like the look of, about a third is pre 1933 un-slabbed junk gold, and about a third is high end (for me as you say) pre 1933 numismatic gold with a median value of around $7500 a coin, half eagles, eagles, lib double eagles, and saints. Ooops I also have some very unusual and rare nuggets. I see you have some slabbed OGH too, I'm big into those. I don't reholder the OGH, because if you study the auction prices you will see that they go for more in the OGH even in lessor grades. I see you bought all CAC that is smart. I also agree with what you wrote about being ripped off by Wall Street and the like, you can make a lot of money there, but why is it you are always more likely to lose? Gold is the only investment with no counter party risk.
I’m kinda mad. I don’t know why I decided to reply to this comment but anyways. I am 12 years old and really want to stack gold, so being myself decide to try to convince my parents and it happened to be that 2-3 period in March where gold was 14-1500 per ounce and of course they said no and the other day my dad came up to me and said “you know we should’ve bought gold” and I was kinda mad. And that’s the story on why I’m sitting here at 12 am talking about being mad
My son is 13 and I got him started stacking a few months ago he’s got about 7 ounces of silver now . My suggestion is if you have a local coin shop when ever you get a little cash instead of buying bike parts or video game try to have your dad bring you to the coin shop and buy some silver when you get enough silver y’all to the local coin shop guy to trade for some gold .
Savage Stacker well I have been collecting silver coins for a about 6 years now and I have about i don’t know it’s been awhile sence I’ve weighed it but about 30 ounces but that’s in 6 years for that price I could get maybe a 1/4 ounce or 2-3 1/10 ounces which is still something but that’s half of my life
Nice. I'm trying to start collecting the pre 33 gold. You mentioned possibility of fake coins in non-slab. Is this a rampant problem with non-slabbed pre 33 gold coins? Thanks for any clarification. Plus, any word to the wise in advising a novice stacker is greatly appreciated.
Man I love that pre-33 gold type set, I’m putting one together currently just by type tho not by date. I’d imagine a lot of those cost a good bit more than spot probably 200k here if not more.
This is a dream collection! You have more ounces of gold in your stack than most stackers have ounces of silver!
I'm working on my first ounce of gold, gotta start somewhere. Great stack.
Good luck! You’ll get there! I’ve been adding 1/10 when I’m able to and I’m happy to say this month I’ve finally reached my first ounce of gold.
@@jujubegold Awesome! Gotta be a great feeling.
Silver Coin Outdoors thank you 😊. It gives me encouragement that small steps can lead you to your goal.
Silver Coin Outdoors nows grwat time too
jujubegold what’s the price that you buy them at

Forget 401k or my pension from work, gold is my real pension.
"Perth has the best products, bar none". Thanks mate. I love my local mint.
Incredible collection. I agree with what you said about collecting and variety. To me, this is far more impressive than simply having 5 tubes of AGE (not that I'd turn up my nose to those). You are very blessed, congrats!
So glad I can walk into the Perth mint in person. Nice collection.
I really wish I was a bit older during the early 2000s when it was 300-500 dollars an ounce...
Don't worry ,maybe in 20 years, we are going to be like why didn't we buy more gold when it was $2,000 an ounce in 2020.
@@samatar1025 yes start stacking now
@@samatar1025 exactly

Congratulations! That is one mean stack that is just going to get a lot bigger.
Very nice collection! Keep stacking ;)
Awesome, nice job
Love the lunars. Congrats!
What do you guys think about that 150$ American gold eagle coin? Is that good to get started
Nice stack! Just subbed
Very impressive, nice stack man
What issues have you had with the British royal mint??
Amazing stack! thanks for sharing. What's your plan for the future?
Wow, I stay completely away from the numismatics, but it's awesome to see all that Gold in one spot. Awesome!
Nice collection! 👍
