Great analysis doc. Here's my story. I did my Fsc Pre medical in 2011. Tbh, I never had that passion for studying medicine. At such young age I went as per the advice and decision of my parents. After doing Fsc I wasn't able to secure a seat in a government medical college. Still my parents wanted me to go for private admission or to study BDS. But I refused as one of my teachers advised me to go for chartered accountancy. Alhamdulilah, that decision changed all the dynamics of my life. I qualified CA in 2016. Currently I'm working in one of the most reputable MNC's in Pakistan. Lastly, Salary and income isn't something to be disclosed as per the ethical codes of our profession ; ) 😅

I got 95% marks in my matric and started fsc with pre engineering but i was so much critisized by my fellows and seniors who ask me to change my field daily. i was fed up with their behavour. I could not focus on my studies and was about to quit my studies. But now Alhamdulillah I am in a prestigeous university IBA karachi and those who were asking me to change my field even didn't got admission in any university.

a very bitter truth. I also became a victom of this conventional education system. Spent 15 lacs on engineering degree but no future. Allah saved me from depression. As i belong to a teaching family background. I started my own academy now i m earning 70k within 6 months. Alhmdulillah.

really, really i always thought that i never let my daughter to become a dr unless she eagerly wants to be as it reduces the sweetness of a woman's life.... my opinion....
You are 98% saying right. My daughter took 97% marks into matric. I just asked once beta doctor banana Aapka passion to nhi she said no. Then I asked her to joi Punjab College for pre engg. There my daughter spent two years with 100% scholarship with best education. Then after doing her FSc I advised her to take admission in Fast University. By the grace of Allah She has completed her BCS from there and before her convocation she started job into one of the best software house of Pakistan with a very handsome salary. Now I share why didn't I wish that she should go for MBBS: 1. MBBS after five years isn't a complete degree. 2. The environment of our govt hospitals long long duty timings and our awam and condition of govt hospitals. 3. For females most recommended field is gyne where I feel men are most experts and professional and have good fame. 4. After marriage if she isn't allowed for job or practice then for washing bartan and clothes there are several options. 5. I think in a very very limited seats we shouldn't do some experiment just for the sake of a label that she is a doctor but you aren't allowed to serve due to any reason. 6. It is far better that we should give some professional/technical some sort of skills or degree for the sake of securing the future of our daughters sply after marriage she never feels any sort of dependency. Dr Sahib has given a lot of options all are very effective and easy to handle.

Dr sahib meri beti ko kabhi doc bnnna hi pasand nahi thaa. Main nay as traditional pakistani mother forced my daughter in mbbs .she done 1st year mbbs. But she forgot to smile. I got 95% marks in my matric and started fsc with pre engineering but i was so much critisized by my fellows and seniors who ask me to change my field daily. i was fed up with their behavour. I could not focus on my studies and was about to quit my studies. But now Alhamdulillah I am in a prestigeous university IBA karachi and those who were asking me to change my field even didn't got admission in any university.

یہ صرف اس فیلڈ کی بات نہیں ہر فیلڈ کا یہی حال ہے۔ پاکستان کی آبادی کے لحاظ سے روزگار کے مواقع بہت کم ہے۔
You are 98% saying right. My daughter took 97% marks into matric. I just asked once beta doctor banana Aapka passion to nhi she said no. Then I asked her to joi Punjab College for pre engg. There my daughter spent two years with 100% scholarship with best education. Then after doing her FSc I advised her to take admission in Fast University. By the grace of Allah She has completed her BCS from there and before her convocation she started job into one of the best software house of Pakistan with a very handsome salary.
Now I share why didn't I wish that she should go for MBBS:
1. MBBS after five years isn't a complete degree.
2. The environment of our govt hospitals long long duty timings and our awam and condition of govt hospitals.
3. For females most recommended field is gyne where I feel men are most experts and professional and have good fame.
4. After marriage if she isn't allowed for job or practice then for washing bartan and clothes there are several options.
5. I think in a very very limited seats we shouldn't do some experiment just for the sake of a label that she is a doctor but you aren't allowed to serve due to any reason.
6. It is far better that we should give some professional/technical some sort of skills or degree for the sake of securing the future of our daughters sply after marriage she never feels any sort of dependency. Dr Sahib has given a lot of options all are very effective and easy to handle.

Or biotechnology.,,in fact to be honest the above courses which I had mentioned i may not get good college during consuling.but my parents are not agreeing to drop again..?or should I opt for abroad mbbs,my father is saying he will sell land and join me ,i don't want him to spend all money ,i don't know what to do,i still tried to get seat this yr due to tension,stress i lost marks ..

Ap tu kahain gay CSS k liay nahi jana chahiay wahan hazaroon candidates hote hain. Peon ki aik seat par teen teen hazar apply karte hain. Be pragmatic Mam.You can't fool some one like this .We are not against this profession but those who truely love the creatures of Allah and wants to serve humanity don't desire to earn millions.Now a days doctors love their profession and status more than anything else.So don't try to cover up their intentions by saying such soft words.
Very well said and have explained the reality about doctors in Pakistan. Although I am graduate of 1974 and my elder son and daughter is a doctor .Doctor is working as Associate professor and daughter is taking care of her children .My younger son is a chartered accountant and working in USA .I and my son have decided not to adopt this profession at all .I am really worried to see the condition of doctors and health system in Pakistan..ALLAH REHAM KERAY KUN KE AIR REHREI WALA BHE AIK DOCTOR SE ZIYADA KAMAA RAHA HA .
