    I don't know if they did this when you were there, but they took us into the garage and went over some of the features of the car. That's when they showed us the rotor.GM dealer in town did it but wouldn't own up to it.

      Yes I saw a damaged ceramic rotor. It was inspiration to film the wheel lug extension video to prevent damage. ruclips.net/video/xTJTpNQDnCU/видео.html

    It’s amazing how the professionals make it look so easy. By the second day, I would say you were very close to driving like the pros. From that I can gather that you are a quick study which means you have a strong passion to learn the techniques. I could also tell that you enjoyed putting this video together. So glad to see Glen that you had a great time! And who would ever thought that the brake pedal was the ‘go fast pedal’. 😀👍

      @ozzstars_cars  5 лет назад

      Hey thanks Terry. Yes I did learn a lot and mainly because I an interested in the subject. 😉 I spent about 10-12 hours editing time on this video, maybe more. It was fun putting it all together and a lot of work. Thinking back what I learned at the track four months ago came easily. Take care and I really appreciate you be a long time subscriber and contributor to my channel. 👍 Take care.

    Man that looked like a barrel of fun! Wish they had a class for like that for my Silverado ... I drive similarly when I need to get home. 🤣
    You think 500 on the street is alot, well I've got a buddy with a '10 Camaro that's put around $30-LARGE into - he laid down just under 800 HP ... AT the REAR WHEELS!! This thing is STUPID fast, to the point where you have to be careful going down a bumpy road - let your foot bounce on that throttle, and you'll be sideways before you even know what hit you, LOL. Thing leaves rubber at 130 MPH!!! 😎 It's INSANE. I think my buddy has an app for his phone that tells G-forces - I'm going to have to pay attention to that when accelerating when he gives me a hell-ride this summer. 😊
    Thanks for sharing, Glen! Good stuff!! 👍👍

    I set aside 42 minutes in solitude so I would not miss a moment. That was a fantastic story/experience. I can only imagine how it would have been in person. That school must change a lot of brake pads and rotors! I did a little circle track (dirt) racing in the 80's and I would love to try my skills on pavement. You did a great job at editing the video too.

    • @ozzstars_cars
      @ozzstars_cars  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks Wyatt appreciate your comment. Out of all my videos this video took the most energy to edit. The school goes through a lot of tires, brakes also but not as much as you would think. Carbon ceramic rotors go a long way. They are awesome. It was an amazing experience! 👍

    My brother and I started a Bus service out in Pahrump. Pahrump Transit in 1998 or 99 went belly up. Anyway do you recommend changing the transmission on the 6 way seats or just change the carriage and all . 4 electric motors and a air pump holy cats. 91 corvette

    • @ozzstars_cars
      @ozzstars_cars  5 лет назад

      Parhump is a lot more populated now than 20 years ago I bet. I would fix only what was broken on the seat.

    how do you take the wires loose from the seat transmission to the electric motors ? I took the hose clamp off the tube their in, but it still seemed to be on there tight. has someone done this? Thanks

      Well the oval is dry so around 1.25g. On the wet areas it was probably around .8 to 1.

    I own a 2016 Camaro 2SS loaded automatic-have 50000 hard miles on it-one thing I see right away-these instructors have you in too high of a gear in every corner period!! They did not teach feathering throttle in corners-but it was good for absolute new people but no where near what these cars can do -thumbs up but too bad there is no video of the instructor driving the car to demonstrate what can be safely done in these engineered marvels

      You have to work it slow and get the line and the smoothness before you add more speed and faster acceleration. Like dropping it down a gear. Better to have control, get the driving, steering breaking acceleration correct thru the turn. I do know some people do not look ahead. PS, I am no race car driver buy I ski race. It does not look easy and sure it takes lots of practice. Not wanting to go off the track. Waiting for my C8 and will take this school when I get my new C8. No way will I use all of what my new C8 can offer but I will be a better driver. Like that I will be able to practice in their C8 as I more than likely will not track my car. Who knows, I could get addicted. I did order it with the Z51 package.

    When I did the instructor driving observation event, he was drinking a cup of coffee and pulling 1.25Gs+ in every turn. That's when I knew the car's limits were WAAAY beyond what I was asking it to do :D

      Tons of experience makes anything that much easier. Richey Hearns got in the car with me to demonstrate proper braking. How hard could it be right? It was the technique that he taught me. The 'go fast pedal' was my secret weapon from there on out. lol
