Great question! For MLB right now, I would make sure I had a few more "situational angles" in my favor in order to play the Mariners. For example, Mariners in good form, you have a pitching adv., and Yankees in bad form. The only thing in this example going against you is the line movement. In NFL or college football, the line movement is so damn sharp, I do not go against it! So if I like Bills and line is -3 and 30 minutes before game is moves to -2.5, I pass.
Sometimes an advantage to play early especially with favorites and points I made in the video. However, line could move against you in this scenario and you don’t get the benefit of a “seasoned” line. Overall, best to wait until final line move just before game time to get full benefit of line move.
