Poupog's death is a mystical one. I was around but decided not to go to the mortuary. To my suggestion poupog must have involved himself into a cult or from a sugar mummy stuff. Only him and God know. His tribal (bamelike) men says he would have been taken to a babalao to bring back his spirit. That his spirit is still around. It all depends on the family.

I’m an Irish American watching from Brooklyn NY🇺🇸. I was born and raised in the 2nd largest Haitian community in the US, East Flatbush, Brooklyn. This story reminds me of the Haitian Zonbis (zombies). It’s a part of VoDou (voodoo), which does come from Africa, old African practices combined with Christianity, but when it comes to Zonbi, a chemical they use is Tetrodotoxin. Given in just the right dose it will slow all respiratory and circulatory activity so slow that doctors will declare you deceased. What they do is dig you up after you’ve been buried, after you’re funeral when you’re family and mourners all go away, and they force you into slavery. In Haiti it’s common to be forced into slavery in Sugarcane farms. I’m wondering if maybe the Tetrodotoxin didn’t wear off on this boy because he was young and healthy and he woke up in the morgue before he was buried and dug up?

These things are very common both in Africa or anywhere in the world. To me it is not a surprise story. When I was still in my primary school, in my village in Nigeria. In fact it has been my community. In my forefathers days, there's one particular place they used to burry the dead (cemetery) and that place people make a footpath. I am a witness of this story. To carry on, Any time we pass through that area, i could hear, babies crying, pounding something in mortar like they are preparing meals, talking, not only one or two voices, i mean lots of voices like market place. Calling each others. A lot of transactions went on. And in the evening around 7pm people cannot pass through that area because of the fear. But we got used to the situation because the dead people were members in our community. All the noise and other things going on in the spiritual world, we did not see anybody only the noises. Nevertheless, the community decided to open the school at the cemetery area, there, we began do school gardening and dug everything out from human bones to skulls. The tombstones had pulled out those graves without tombstones were scattered. It took time for the noises to fade away because the place has been modernised. Now no noises and no more fear people can go out and go in anytime they want without any issues in that area. Another story is My sister in-law went to church prayer meeting, that was 2years ago. As she was riding her bike returning from church to her home, the car came from no way and hid her, and she died. Her body was deposited in the mortuary. After a few months, my sister called me and told me that, the grandchildren of the dead woman were playing in the yard when the dead woman was visiting the house. The children saw her and greeted her Mama welcome because the children thought she was going to visit one of her children. They didn't know she was death. The mother of the children playing in the yard were cooking in the kitchen. After that, the children rushed to their mum to tell her that they saw Mama that she's back. The mum now begin to look everywhere but she couldn't see Mama. From that moment, the dead woman continued to visit her home she was suddenly left behind. When she visit her home, the first place in the house she goes is kitchen, and then where she used to pack her bike. She would make a great noise by banging the plates and cooking pots. So it was forced to drive her daughter in-law, her step son and the children out of the compound ,till her burial rites had been done. What I'm trying to say is ,we live in a wired world, anything can happen and possible.

exactly where i come from here in Cameroon, when our loved ones dies, and we know that the person's ghost might come lurking around, they will bury them with pepper in their mouth cloths and important documents so incase the person comes, he or she will just pick up those things and go to where ever they want and they turn up being successful and helps the family financially and can even make another family. so to us it is normal

A friend of mines brother passed on few years ago now. But one day I was in a taxi in Downtown Kingston, Jamaica and saw the brother passing by, I was about to shout out his name and ask him what was up, but he was moving so fast so I couldn't get to shout him out in time.. A friend of mine mom died in 2010 in Ogun State,Nigeria.They couldn't reach her elder sister living and working in Kogi State. Her phone didn't go through until a day after before they could reach her and told her that her mom is dead she shouted and said never because their mom just left her house that their mom came to kogi to visit her saying she's going to Kano State to get some goods because she's a business woman that she even slept over at her house and left very early that her mom even got her a lot of things she knew that she liked, that her mom was just saying that she really missed her that she was even laughing at her mom that her mom is even treating her like a kid.When we asked of what she put on to her house she said it was the cloth she bought for her on her birthday and when we checked their mom's wardrobe the cloth wasn't there,we checked everywhere but couldn't see the cloth and that's not the cloth she was buried with. She was the only one among her mom's 3 children that wasn't there at her burial. My friend's elder sister almost ran mad and we were all surprised. Although I've been hearing things about it since when I was a kid but I never knew it would happen to someone close to me. There's a lot going on after the body shut down which is called death and they are a lot of mysteries about life and death. People that doesn't believe should continue. This might be true. We have experienced a lot of this. Come to kaduna state under Kachia local government, there’s this village we lived in… one will die and be buried the same day but when you go to the river of farm, you’re likely to see them there sitting, standing, walking around or even on top a rock or tree in broad daylight or even the evening time or early morning. You might even get to pass the person along the way to the river and after passing him you get to realize he’s the one and before you know it he will be very distant away from You for someone who just passed you by within few seconds. You’re even likely to see the dead standing at night when you comes out to pee… Just like one woman who died and started visiting and beating the villagers at night until they began to put one particular leave at the door which stops her from being able to get into the house. At first you might be talking to the being thinking he’s real human not even a word will be said by the person

The part that really sent chills down my spine was when my mum told me things she claimed i said about her behind her back to my little friends during that particular holiday on her hospital bed and which were actually true. how she knew till today remains a mystery.

I commented on one of your videos like that about my dads brother who died in an accident and got married and finally brought the family home and gave excuse that he want to collect something from a brother in the next house. in which you pinned the comment. Even in a morgue where one of my friends work told me a story of how a woman in the mortuary goes out to buy moi moi on credit and drop the cups everyday at the entrance. She even told the moi moi seller where she stays Untill one day the moi moi seller decide to come collect her money. When she described the woman, she happens to be a dead woman. The owner of the morgue even offered to pay the woman. But she ran and left both her money and cups
