He played well to an extent, but he gave the ball away far too many times, when attempting forward passes!
I thought his overall game was very assured today, wonderful header for the goal! The organisation and positioning of the back 4 in general was excellent, albeit up against a low block which never deviated much from their shape.
His build-up play and breaking the first line of pressure was much better. Yes, he got caught dithering again a few times, which resulted in unforced errors; rushed and inaccurate passing. When he’s got too much time to think, that’s when he becomes uncomfortable with the ball at his feet. As much as that’s an area of his game he need to evolve himself, until then, it’s also the responsibility of those playing ahead of him, especially Callum dropping in to that deep-lying 6 position, to give him that option release the ball much quicker.
If he could cut that out his game, he wouldn’t be far off prime Baresi (yes, I am auld enough to remember that cult hero!) 😎
Brendan has put his mark on the team. But he needs support from above to reach the next level. Happy about witnessing yesterday. 🍀

One swallow,Summer and all that Leanne,but yeah, maybe the shoots of a good team starting to materialise. Maybe the bedding in period for some of these players is over,and are starting to show the potential that BR saw in them.Maybe to many came in over the course of last season and are only starting to gel now. And preseason performances would have done their confidences the world of good. Here's hoping🤞.

Lads just clear something up - Kyogo was offside however VAR did not get involved meaning the ref just didn't give the pen which is horrendous. Had he given the pen it would have went to VAR and would have been changed for offside.

we will never get to the next level because our supporters obsession with Rangers. rubbish Rangers drop points yesterday to Hearts at tynecastle and everything is all forgiven, our supporters let Brendan Rodgers, peter lawwell and celtic board off the hook because our supporters, just like our board and peter lawwell dont care about us improvement and going to the next level as long as we are in front of our biggest rivals. We all need to wake up and realised that our team is absolute rubbish and we have no challenge from a pathetic Rangers who died a long time ago. my message to celtic supporters forget about your obsession with Rangers and start demanding more from the board about spending serious cash and stop letting Brendan Rodgers and the board off the hook.

Rodgers done a very good job last season winning league and Cup double with a team that were starting to slide in postecoglus last few months. In fairness the board are the ones to blame as they are not investing in the team. Brendan can only work with what he's got and is a good coach doing a good job. How on earth do you expect celtic to compete in Europe when they're only spending peanuts compared to the English,Spanish,Italian,German,French, clubs etc .Even clubs in Turkey,Portugal,Holland,Belgium etc have way more spending power than celtic. I can guarantee you Rodgers would improve celtic in Europe with decent backing. Let's be honest here and look at the bigger picture hail hail brendan and celtic onwards and upwards.
