Han's dog is fine! They revealed that the two of them had a conversation during one of their schedules where Seungmin talked about wanting a dog very badly, but being terrified to get one because he hates the idea that at some point he'll have to say goodbye. Han said that he ended up staying up all night writing that song as a gift for Seungmin as a result of the conversation, but that he used Seungmin's emotions as the inspo. Hyunjin said when he heard it for the first time he messaged Han to make sure his dog Bbama was okay, because even he wasn't sure.
don't know how I missed this reaction, so glad you did these! Hyunjin's song is so nostalgic, and it's almost (to me) Han influenced sounding in a way. I just always enjoy listening to Hyunjin try different things, he always surprises me. The lyrics though were what really got me. Hyunjin is, I think at heart, just a poet. Seungmin's song is a tear-jerker for sure! He emotes so well. Han's song I actually wasn't sure if I liked it the first time I heard it. I was so enthralled by the instrumental that I had to go back and actually listen to the singing. It's so good!
Thank you for this reaction! the moment you said you'd react to Hold on I knew we were in to start crying, I can't listen to this song without crying, it just hits so close to home
Thanks for the reaction. I do agree with you that the next hurdle Hyunjin is working on is being able to fully show his raw vocals. Part of it is his focus on his performances as he always goes super hard and sometimes leaves him breathless for his vocal parts. We have seen Hyunjin hit higher notes during some karaoke/sing along in SKZ code, but it really is like you said him working on his confidence and trust in his voice. Hyunjin has a wide vocal range, would be fun to see him get more technical down the line. Hold on just hits hard for pet owners. The goodbye and see you again later is always the hardest part :( Miserable has put me in a mood the last few weeks. It's a bop w/ an instrumental that I just adore, but then I remind myself of the lyrics, and just get sad lmao. Han not only has agility w/ his vocals but with playing with my emotions ! Feel better! Cheers!
