Toadfish has an amazing shrimp cleaner...it devains...peels...and butterflies the 🍤 shrimp in one move...love it...and also use the spatula. Great products, great company. 👍💯✌

Geez! I never thought of using Masa as a fish coating! I like the flavor of corn meal in my fish breadings but not always the texture. I’m going to have to try it with the masa, friggin’ GENIUS!

@@CookingWithClams, I've never tried Duke's so I can't say if it's better than Hellman's or not, but both companies are equally corporate: Duke's original owner, CF Sauer, sold their entire line of products to a private equity firm in 2019, and now McCormick is looking to buy the line, including Spice Hunter, Gold Medal, BAMA and Duke's. Corporate control of our food production and distribution is never good for the public, only for the investors.....😖

I'd never heard of Duke's Mayo, so I looked them up ---- their parent company since 1929, CF Sauer, was bought by private equity group Falfurrias Capital Partners in 2019. It was reported just days ago that McCormick is looking to buy Sauer from Falfurrias, which was begun by a former Bank of America CEO. The deal would give McCormick control of Gold Medal, Spice Hunter, BAMA and Duke's. I guess you can expect prices to go up and quality to go down.....

Two or three mashed up capers add a nice sharpness to tarter sauce. I hadn't tried making it with fresh chopped pickles, I just use jarred relish. Cant put hot sauce in mine, the wife wouldn't like it.
Sorry bud, but Dukes reigns supreme 😂 gotta admit nothing hits the good vinegar classic flavour of Mt Olive pickles though. Snacking pickles ill eat anything from clausen to grillos but you gotta bet mt olive goes best in potato salad, tuna salad, honestly anything with mayo... (yknow. Dukes. Hah!)
Don't feel so bad, when I was 11 or 12 I got "skunked" by my mother; after 4 bluefish she was too tired to reel in the 5th, while I caught notjing. On a charter boat in Florida she caught so many red snspper that guys were offering her money to swap their rented pole with her rented pole. Again, I caught nothing.
@@CookingWithClams , I grew up surrounded by Italian Immigrants who were fabulous cooks; and yet, one of their sons wouldn't eat tomatoes or sauce, and another didn't like pasta. Go figure! I ate at their homes all the time, and the other moms loved me because I ate anything and everything they cooked, asked for second helpings, and never turned up my nose at anything. There's nothing a cook likes more than somebody who appreciates their hard work.

Every ticket sold went to restoration. It was a fundraising event. They raised $50k to go back into the ecosystem. So no I don’t agree
