    This is what's called loving the game and never giving up on yourself. I don't think I've ever seen a streaky shooter become a legit 40% three-point shooter. It seems unreal. This is the definition of mamba mentality.

    Amazing how he adapts even as he ages. From young to prime LeBron using his body, athleticism, and speed to get buckets and be a tank to now adjusting his game by being a more reliable outside shooter. This is how greats stay in the game longer: adjusting their game to compensate for their reduced other abilities. Another example is Curry adding more weight and muscle and refining more of his handling the ball to compensate for his age and loss of quickness.

  • @alanlee67

    I agree that his jumper is better but this is stuff he needed to have mastered by 2010. He was constantly exposed as a poor jump shooter in the deadball era where jump shooting was needed. The Magic and the Celtics in 09 and 10 made him a jump shooter and that's why he lost to them when Kobe was able to beat them pretty much single handedly with about an equal supporting cast. If he could combine better jump shooting with his generational athleticism, maybe he wouldn't have needed to jump ship to superteams and have adam silver put bugs in every ref's ear to make things go his way. As it stands...father time has caught up with him and all he can really do now is put his head down and watch as everyone is instructed to get out of his way.

    😮 I'm just saying he has improved his shot but playing 20 years of basketball will do that. Yea you got the 40 grand cool but as long as steph playing Lebron will never lead the league in 3's. Rebounds, steals and blocks are also out of his reach another ring🤔 maybe with another team

  • @arizona_anime_fan
    @arizona_anime_fan 6 месяцев назад

    easy, be such a terrible jump shooter for 20 years in the NBA, don't work to get open on offense, and defenses will ignore you, sagging off to give him 10+ feet of open air in front of him, then when he gets the ball and jacks a 3, it has a higher then normal (for him) chance to go in, because there is no closeout; as a sidenote, while his work on his catch and shoot aspect has been enormous, i can't help but note this might be the first time in his 20 year career his game evolved in any meaningful way.
    still lets temper our enthusiasm his shot off the dribble is still putrid. and he is far less accurate with a hand in his face. but it's still a small evolution in a guys game who somehow has failed to evolve in 20 years.
