Those crazy splits SGA does to decelerate look similar to the sliding technique used by tennis players like Djokovic to get out to a wide ball and rapidly recover to the centre of the court.

very true, i wonder if it will be more of an emphasis for iso scorers, kyrie also creates similar angles which make him extremely difficult to stay in front of when he decelerates. Yoga and mobility exercises are extremely important for almost every sport, not just lifting in the gym. It’s the reason why Wembanyama is an alien at his size, and helps him prevent injury.

SGA creates so much space that I see him pause a lot before actually shooting. so basically what this video is aying is the reason sga is great in iso is because he has floor spacers and the floor is properly spaced out for him to iso. the worst 3 point shooter for okc is giddey so i guess the ability to have floor spacers and guys who spread the floor helps sga to attack a driving line. also the ability for them to set screens for shooters and chet openeing the lane for sga by setting a screen.

Not the prettiest game, but it's absolutely deadly. It's so all over the place yet comes together perfectly

It reminds me little bit of Michael jordan in his first couple years, using crossovers and hesi's into exploding past defenders, especially when going left

his mid range jumper sure does. especially that sweet fade away he does off of his spins and cross overs

Nah mj doesn’t have this type of handle mechanics. He’s just super gifted athletically that he can get away with anything involving quickness.
