Well done on this one. Great choice of topic about slang, so popular. That lesson was quite educating despite the fact I knew over half of em. Keep bringing the quality stuff. Grat channel.
please give us more US slang video! it really helps! I have learned English for more than 10 years, but I can't understand some of the American movies's phrase. And I still sacre to speak with my American friends, give us more knowledge! Thank you so much!!
I live in a place called Detroit and the most used slang word is do you know what I mean it's basically their version of of a greeting but it's more what you say after a sentence it's kind of like those people that say like a lot but instead of saying the word like you're saying the words do you know what I mean.
I feel that savage is slightly different. It lost its meaning somewhat, and indeed is used to call someone or something cool. But when I was growing up, a savage (as a person) meant more like someone who was daring enough to do a mean or dangerous task. For example, a student talking back to a teacher after getting told to go to the principal's office. That kid is a savage for talking back. Or maybe after school, the same kid decided to do a back flip off the playground. That kid is a savage for doing a backflip.
"Let's get after it" is like saying "let's begin" but about something you are excited about. For example: -Are you excited to go on a run with me? -Yeah, let's get after it!
Nice vid. Thanks a lot. By the way, Brits usually say: 'Are you taking the Mickey'? (not taking the Michael). That means to take the piss, to be pulling your leg, to be joking, kidding.
I know people use the word for granted or a real one as a slang word I'm never people use it as like a slang word usually just the way that you would normally put it in the exes laneway of bring It.
Hey! Your way of teaching is amazing but i cant believe that u were shy in childhood seriously? U have got amazing way of talkin i was enjoying and learning from your video..😇😊
Thanks alot for your Explanation and Examples. I offer u to make the others Videos with Subtitles, it would be easy to learn English . The Video was great . Have a good time
"Off the rip" is not a common slang term. It is also problematic because it is associated with drug use. I would not recommend using it unless you want the people you are addressing to think you smoke a lot of marijuana.
@Yeovbii it implies "rip" as in "bong rip". I have heard "off the rip" used after to state what a person would do immediately after "ripping" a bong, joint, etc... The term "rip" probably comes from the sound that burning cannabis makes when being vigorously smoked. I really would not recommend using this term in a professional environment. To clarify, I am a native English speaker who has lived in the Great Lakes andRocky Mountain regions of the U.S., as well as California. I am familiar with all U.S. dialects.

Whip is another slang word that’s really old. People started using it in the year 2000. Everyone knows it means car.
Very nice content!
'Whip' is a derivation of the Whippet automobile.
a savage man😐 before I had heard as a wild person😎 ?
Real one means good person
I wasn't sure about the words that you said Can you write them down below please.
