So be proud as you want to be American or not. You should've been supporter or motivator or no need to join us. So please let others get benefited. Thank you 😇so appreciate us as fresh leaners to you man.
@Jonas Jamal ur right we don't give a crap:) now go away scammer
How about aliens
Same, i use it to emphasize something that really important; "duuuude, for reals, he drank himself to death"🤣
Are you from Cali?
“In a nutshell “that means ,in summary or in few words
“Suck it up “accept something bad and deal with it well, controlling your emotions
Thanks for commenting & sharing with us Adrian. Have a great day! 😃👍
Thanx!
Interactive english is the best channel i loved it
Adrian Azuaje In a nutshell is an idiom. It's not slang.
In California, we can use dude for anything. A guy can be dude, a girl can be dude, hell your phone can be dude. There's a nuance there that I can't explain.
Gentoo true dat
Yeah dude
There is even a song dedicated to it!
Californians are stupid. Explained it. Yes I’m a southerner, yes I hate California, yes I am a Republican, yes I hate Hollywood, yes I think California is fake as hell, yes you are right about using dude for anything.
Awesome lesson! I found it very useful. I'm having exams at college the next three weeks, so I might say that I've been cramming for them. Btw, I have an American friend who lives in Washington DC and she visited me last year. She taught me a very useful phrasal verb which is "to flake out on". We were talking about dates gone wrong and guys who would never show up for a date. Then she used this phrasal verb to say "Girl, I'll never flake out on you." She meant to say that she'd never disappoint me, she'd never fail to keep a promise, she'd always stick to her word, she'd never cancel plans with me at last minute or without previous notice. I was glad to know that because I'm kind of distrustful of people who make promises and never keep them.
hi i'm from morocco can you practice with me english thanks
I dig that phrasal verb!" flake out on" i hate promising people but, i love flaking out on them.
Cool, Awesome (Lit), Babe, Bae, Dude
1.Ripped (strong, muscular)
2.Ripped = Wasted (to be very entoxicated)
Lit (Awesome), Antsy (impatient, restless)
Dis (disrespect), Bromance (nothing sexual)
Gaydar (Gay+Radar=giving signal)
Cram (alot of information in a short period of time)
P.S. I've crammed this for you dudes ;-)
thanks dude it was really Nice of u
You saved my life!
Very well, Helen. Don"t forget that nowadays ripped is used only 4those who have a very good and muscular body.
This is helpful. Thx
Thanks more and more
1:31 as a British person i am blown away by the fact and the frequency with which americans say awesome. that, to me, is the number one way to sound american (or canadian, too)
Yeah from the 1980’s-2000’s
I'm a native American english speaker and use slang half of the time but I enjoyed watching this
Phrases using slang

Awesome video!!!
Thanks so much Bassam. Hope you learned some new slang words. Have a great weekend! 😃
Shocked. I always thought Bae was some sort of short for Babe. Awesome.
Also, I believe Dude went on to be acceptable for all genders, females too. I think now it's essentially used for any platonic non romantic but close friendship.
sort of.. in my world of the east coast millennial, "dude" is never used to refer to a female, although sometimes it will be used before saying something for emphasis. E.g. "dude, that is so not cool" or "man, I couldn't believe they did that" could be directed at a female, but even then not that often. I wonder if it's different in Cali
Thanks for sharing examples. That is awesome¡
Glad you liked it!

But I don’t trouble anyone
American slang allows us to have a closer communication with people from all over the world, there we find expressions that are very particular to their language and expressions that can become strange when we are sharing with English speakers. For these cases there are a series of adjectives and verbs that we can use constantly or as the conversation progresses.

these are some slang phrases i picked up in California
" don't get it twisted "- to not misinterpret information
A: I saw my girlfriend walking with another guy, I think she's cheating on me.
B: Don't get it twisted, that's her brother.
" hands down "-without any doubt; extremely sure about something; usually used to emphasize likes and dislikes
This restaurant is way better than the one we went last time, hands down.
This video is the best, hands down!
A:- I saw him rob the girl's phone
B:- Are you sure?
A:- I know it was him, hands down

What's a slang for amarican other than Yankee.
What's up Ahmed? Good question. In Europe, Americans may be referred to as "Yankees." In Latin America, Americans may be referred to as "Gringos." 👍
And people from the south get offended if you call them Yankees or yankes because the Yankees were the Union soldiers. Southerners, people from the southern states of the US use Yankees to describe them.
Normally we use our state to describe ourselves. I’m Californian-from California, or I’m a New Yorker- from New York, Floridian- Florida, Texan- from Texas etc.
Patriot. Freedom lover. Stars and Stripes boy. Yankee in American means something else compared to the rest of the world. It involves the civil warZ

Faff? No one says that here. “Feeling blue” isn’t used often and younger people don’t tend to say it.
