You are such a born teacher. The voice, the face, the grace. You are polite and politically correct. But without being boring. Absolutely love your vids. People in Europe think that American English is not classy. They should listen to people like you.
I'm really impressed by the slang "down". All my life when I heard/read "I'm down" I understood that the person is kind of sad, unhappy, because basically "down" is the opposite of up, that leads to "thumbs up", and such ideas. I think is gonna be difficult to me to erase that idea of "bad things" related to "down". OMG... Thanks Wes!
The same here. I also thought Being Down means feeling sad, being in bad mood. OMG.... Thank you for clearing this for us. Learning a lot from this channel. thank you!!!

I think you are right on target in that lots of ESL learners are learning some slang that we never use in our lives. They tend to get these slang either from some movies or dramas but in reality even native speakers don't even know or know it but rarely use them. In that regard, touching on quite common, frequently used slang like these can be super helpful for most of ESL students. GREAT JOB! Hope you can continue to create this line of content. Here's one more that can make your videos stand out even more than others. What about adding frequency on each slang how much it's used. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the good work!
Hi Wes! Watching video lessons like yours never gets you bored! Never ever! The more you watch the more interesting words you find. The word "MOON" deserves special attention. Mooning seems to be a little bit weird to me but we all were students and only God knows what you can do for kicks. Boys will be boys! And how many words related to "moon" are there in English! The moon, moonlight (work part-time secretly), moonshine (Romanian tsuika) and on and on and on.
