    I’m 8yrs deep on my mini stroke. It damage the side of the brain we use for expression. So i’ve haven’t been playing my guitar for eight years even though I never lost the ability to play. My want to has been gone. My church life has been sporadic. Since I got my ability to talk again I still read the Bible every day. Recently one of my speech therapist has insist that I play a song and sing it. So I’ve been practicing. .I start getting better I started listening to music stuff stuff that I used to play in a worship team. Sing sing sing, that was my jam. I was practicing right now and I came across your and your churches worship team covering sing sing sing. So I started to play to it & when the chorus came in….it blew me over \0/❤. Overwhelmed😎👍 I haven’t felt that way in a long time. I was telling somebody one time how awesome this worship team I was watching one time and how that I need to hear/see The worship team to get pumped up to hear the Word Of God. She told me I was sad because I have to see a band to go to church. I said yes a Worship Team we worship the King of Kings, JESUS, because our Jesus Rocks! Well done Sagebrush Worship, I’m going to Church in the morning. I come in agreement with all your prayers spoken and unspoken. In the Beautiful name of Jesus. Amen. ✝️❤️🙏
    \0/KING JESUS ❤️\0/

    Rick Morrow, Your guys' version of this song is absolutely amazing! I'm 19 and play drums for our worship team in my church and this is one of my all time faves to play! You guys seriously killed it with the all electric guitar sound! Would love to hear more like this! Keep up the amazing work! God Bless!

    Thank you, and I appreciate the opinion, brother. I'm thankful our church is unique, and doesn't feel the need to follow the contemporary church standard of worship (everybody sound like Hillsong, every electric guitar part sound like U2), which is fine, its just not our thing. At Sagebrush our goal is simply to know Christ & Make Christ known; to worship our God with excellence and to bring honor and glory to Him. We are quite confident our Father is pleased. Thank you and God bless!

      Thank you for the encouraging words, Ben! And I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, the awesome ambient vocal sound and heavy guitar sound you hear on this video, is no longer the "preferred approach" and the worship leaders have since decided to cut back on "rock sounding worship" (back off on the vocal effects & awesome rock guitar tone and solos) & go for a more natural, and less "produced professional" sound and more towards the standard modern Christian "Hillsong" guitar worship tone." While disappointing, it's not surprising. It sounded awesome, and set our worship apart from most around the country. Oh well, that was out of my control. Thanks for watching, Ben!

      randy ranjel Hey Randy ... thanks for the encouraging words brother! I've been playing for about 28 years, and yes, I took lessons the first 3 or 4 years I started playing .. self taught since then. I don't give lessons any more (just no time for it), but here are a few key tips for you to concentrate on in the first few years of playing, if you want to become a good lead guitarist: 1. Stay disciplined in your practicing. 2. Practice alternate picking religiously. 3. Try to practice with a metronome as much as you can, to improve timing. 4. Practice your scale patterns, and cycle of keys to learn how to solo in key. 5. Learn about guitar tone. It doesn't matter how good a player you become .. if your tone is bad, you will sound bad. 6. In the beginning, try to always tune your guitar by ear (tuning fork, single harmonic), try not to use a guitar tuner. This will significantly improve your ear/pitch. 7. Go back and listen and learn from some of the great 80's hair band guitarists (Randy Rhoades, Eddie Van Halen, Nuno Bettencourt, George Lynch, Vito Brata, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc). That era may have produced cheesy lyrics and funny hair doo's, yet it produced some of the best guitar tones, and players of any generation, ever. (and remember, they did not have auto tune, lol, they had to have good ears and real talent). Hope this helps, brother. Have a blessed day!

      I wrote my own guitar parts for this song, so your worship leader probably would rather you just go with the original lead guitar parts. The guitar tabs can easily be found and downloaded online.

    I can't STAND it when people add an "H" to everything they are singing! For example "when we shout your praise, lift high the name HOVE Jesus"
    Drives me nuts and is painful to the ears!!!! Other than that...I like this version.

    • @dandavis8513
      @dandavis8513 9 лет назад

      Putting and H before vowel sounds keeps to vocal cords from bursting open all at once (aka: coupe de glotte or glottic shock) which will increase ones performance stamina in the short term and can dramatically sustain the heath of ones voice long term. The H is the difference between accelerating gradually vs. flooring the gas at every stop sign. Sorry it bothers you, but this guy's actually practicing good vocal hygiene.

      +Adele Tribute and this guy has been singing for Jesus :) Yes, putting 'h' in front of the 'o' vowel wasn't necessary but that doesn't matter too, at least in my opinion.
