- Big Wreck performing Ghosts in Seattle Wa. at the Neumo. Great long guitar solo, which is very clear in the mix starting just after 3:00. Taken with an iPhone 14Pro, 4K 60fps. Ian Thornely and Chris Caddell were both using Fractal AxeFXIII's for effects and live amps with cabinets.

Incredible live version jam!
"Best Solo!" Is very accurate.
They just f'n killed it!
Ian is killer!
Wow there so underrated it’s criminal best band since zeppelin love these Gus were as hot when I seen them in may so great live
Thank you Beato for sending me here, dear lord. Dude sounds like mid-70s Soft Machine era Holdsworth. Incredible.
They are beasts.
Rick beato brought me here..fckn monster player🤙🏽
This band is new to me and I’ve been playing for 37 years. How the hell did I miss this guy ?
I found out about them the same way several years ago, how did I miss this?
Well...enjoy the fact that you've arrived to the party! Lots of stuff to catch up on.. and be sure to try to catch them live. They are truly a rare find these days.
Wow that might be the most crisp I've seen him do that, which is saying a lot... on fire that night, even more so than usual. Great stuff, love the slide into long train too!
No doubt!
A Canadian Treasure
He DOES use his pinkie!! 😄
Was a great show!
His 2015 Suhr performance was super clear methodical measured perfection.
This one sounded more like a jam season than a performance.
Nice! I was right in front of Chris, to your direct left with the two younger ladies ;P I knew I recognized the venue before I read the description. Great Vid!
I really enjoyed a close up of Ian playing guitar all night. We made the long drive over from Spokane and went back home after the show.
Great job camera man!!! Ian the best!!!)))
I love his playing! I’m still surprised about how many people don’t know who this band is.
@@LeeHouk I don't want them to know this guys!! This band is the best and only for us !! You , me and few others!!)))
yeah great job, I saw them in Nanaimo, unfortunately it was a theatre venuee couldn't stay that close
It worked out well for me, small venue, open floor. So I grabbed my spot early. I did miss out on a better mix since the PA was out of my site.
@@LeeHouk yeah, and I though they were using midi controllers through some analog rig in the back, sounded killer either way
What an utter freak!!!!! My GOD!!!! 🤣🤣
Agree! It was an awesome show!
Ian is fantastic, the drummer not much in time with the fills and kick drum tho.

Where is this “Nuendo” place? This looks more like Nuemos….🤔
You are correct it is Nuemos in Seattle
What song do they break into after 9min?
Song is long train running by the Doobie Brothers.
Thank you!
That was such a cool leeway into the Doobies! @@LeeHouk
This is incredible. Thanks for posting. I will say that its getting depressing hearing what the sound is like now with these in ear monitor mixes. I think they were using Fractal amps and it sounds like it. The cymbals are the loudest thing coming off the stage and I’m sure Ian had no idea. Sound men love them because they can control everything but the musicians have no idea what’s really coming out front. His in ear mixes probably sounded great. The guitar tones are anemic though.
This person is so close that you are getting the direct sound of the drums and not even back far enough to capture much of the mains, where the guitar would be significantly louder
i've seen them live and i assure you it sounded amazing
@@FiragoMusic Their stage volume was pretty low that night, until it came time to solo for this song. His stage volume went way up, and the tone was definitely great during the solo! I would have appreciated some kind of center fill for the mix. But that's the sacrifice I made to be close to the action. I couldnt hear much vocals either.
@@LeeHouk you were super close! My go-to move is usually to go near the mix board, bit further back but that's usually where it sounds most optimal. Trade-offs!
Who the F&%# is talking during the show!?!?
Right?
