This looks like so much fun! I wish they would hold events like this in the United States. It makes for some great fun and seeing the entire town there makes me feel like the community is together to enjoy some good old kart racing.
In cub scouts they have this thing called the Cub Mobile derby which is basically a push cart aka gravity racer. They start at the top of the hill and just go down. It’s nothing crazy like this, but it’s fun for youth
Seems lot more fun to watch than the F1 they show on the TV these days.

This happened in Galicia, Northwest Spain. The guy was the winner of the single division, 8th general. Karts have no engine other than gravitiy. it's some sort of iceless bobsleigh. A lot of fun.

Cone is egg you can get hurt just walking its not dangerous i do karting with a real engine thats even more dangerous
@@dardvader6 But karting tracks usually have tire barriers or at least hay. This one is just a drop into trees and branches.

Earlier on in the year I was talking about the feasibility of doing this with a friend. Each year on his land we had a ride on lawnmower race, with the cutting decks removed. It was set up as a Grand Prix, with teams of four or five, all having to ride the same mower and then rotating through all of the mowers to make it fair. All good fun, but the mowers only lasted about four seasons. I suggested each group/team make a push cart. Unfortunately, covid put the brakes on. However, seeing this video has made me think bigger. Our village is sited on a hill, so maybe we could get the village involved and set up a long course!

no engine,no noises,no pollution and a lot of fun.
Made a kart in the early 1980's, i was ten years old ...old pram wheels with dirty ball-bearings and it was fast but...but then my dad said "spray some WD40 on em" F**k was it fast...the most intense 40seconds of my life....scared the shit out of me....so i let my younger brother have a go...yep dad and mum spent the good part of 8 hours with my younger bro waiting at A and E....funny as f88K my brother had a concussion...kept talking about helping people of the steam train with their luggage....happy days....o and i didn't get in trouble cause my dad was the one who told me to spray WD40 on the bearings.
