People are underrating the Samuel signing. I've always liked him but he just never had a QB. He's better then Davis
I'm a huge fan of Gabe Davis and all he brought to the team from an effort, blocking, and leadership standpoint. I also feel that Gabe's usage did him zero favors.
That being said, I think there's a real chance that Samuel is an upgrade in production in our offense at a discounted price. Love love love this signing.
What are the odds that the Bills use a shit ton of motion presnap and almost use Diggs, Shakir, and Samuel somewhat interchangeably from a positional standpoint?
Biggest downgrade will be in blocking
But the improvement on the wr pass catching will be insane
We are going to see Kincaid, Shakira, and Samuel in trip set. Kincaid will be very big in the offense and making sure he is healthy and so is Knox will be very important. Kincaid is going to be used very similarly to Kelce in chiefs offense
It just popped in my head, I was like… Cover One hass to have a Curtis Samuel video by now.
I check, and you posted it 23 minutes ago 😂
This is a hell of a signing go bills Curtis Samuels’s baby😊
I’m excited for him. He’s gonna be good. Wanted him a few years ago when he went to Washington.
Great feature Erik. Beane and the front office definitely added another weapon for Josh. Less than six months now… GO BILLS 💙🏉💙
Go Bills✊
Go bills!!!
Excited for Samuel, super versatile guy with speed. Great breakdown guys
The ref at 9:35 lol
If that Vikings defender doesnt get in the way, that Ref intercepts that ball, because he's falling back into perfect position!! We might of just found our New Free Safety!!
Been waiting for this!
Same I love the film breakdown he covers
@joshuarichardson5859 thank you!
I didn’t realize he was in the backfield like that, appreciate the content
Great breakdown as usual. Excited for this guy now, I didn’t know much about him.
I was impressed with his highlights and he has good hands
Great job Erik, love these videos you do on players. Gets me psyched for how they can use this guy and how much more he may be able to produce now that he is working with Josh and Joe Brady. Go Bills!
Go Bills!✊
Whoa! Color me impressed! Going to push Diggs harder because I saw some serious skills there! NOW, I'm impressed.
I also like the familiarity with Brady. What's not to like here?
Thank you Cover 1!
Most saying Diggs will be June trade
@@davidsoria7701 most? Idiot national media who has been trying to create drama with him for years now? Non-bills fans that don’t know what they’re talking about? The Bills will get killed in dead cap if they move him.
This is a great signing.
Samuel's sell on that Kenny Moore route @5:58 was incredible. Josh is going to love having such a QB-friendly receiver, not to mention the play-making ability after the catch. Dude has good field vision, and I'll never know how he manages to maintain his speed so well throughout pretty much everything he does that needs it. It is going to be fun to watch... 🦬
was looking forward to seeing this breakdown....great as usual
Good break down can’t wait
:D nothing better than the film room!
Great vid.
Go Bills!
Thank you!
I feel like Beane beat the league again.I see both Torrence and Kincaid emerging even more in year two.The thought excites me and suggests with Samuel,Kincaid and Cooke on the field the coverage will not be leaning to Steph. as much as last season.Erik I love what you and Anthony do in the Film room so much,I look forward to every show.I am very interested in how we will see Milano and Bernard deployed as they seem to be similar in strengths.I think this would be a great breakdown for you and Anthony? Thanks for the great insights about our latest weapon.
That ref had money on that game vs Minnesota for sure lol
Kinda reminds me of Emanuel Sanders
Yep, he Emmanuel Sander and John Browns in one.
Oh wow this could be an amazing asset. Are we actually gone to have a screen game. I can only imagine all the rpo things you can do with his speed and quickness.
Screens are def in play. More of them to Samuel instead of Diggs.
Erik breaking down a Curtis Samuel video after a recent Bills signing? Pinch me now, lol... 😂
The bills have been looking for a certain type of player the last few years ever since they lost Beasley/Brown & I think Curtis fits that role they want.
Eric, is the NFL moving away from traditional XYZ receivers to more of a “guys that can just get open and catch”? Kind of like the NBA not having players with clearly defined positions.
Not going to lie, that thought crossed my mind watching this. I do think that it’s a lot more blurred now
@@Cover1thanks for your reply, love the work you guys do with the film room.
Great work Erik. Excited to see what he and Josh can do together.
How is he against press coverage? Can he beat the jam at the line? Or do CBs not try it because of his speed?
I think we are going to see a lot of 11 personnel with Samuel in the back field and Kincaid and Hollins in tight around the line, Shakir in the Slot and Diggs out wide…then they can motion Hollins and Shakir out wide or in tight to manipulate the defense and tip off the coverage of man or zone. Then you can run screens to Shakir or Samuel out of these looks utilizing Hollins and Kincads size as blockers. Or you get match up nightmares out of Samuel catching balls out of the backfield on linebackers or safeties, using him as a hybrid Wr/Rb and YAC it up. Like Cook but faster and better hands. Not only will Shakir and Samuel be interchangeable in the slot, but Samuel and Cook should be also out of the backfield.
Is he as good as 2019 John Brown? 1000 yards and 6 TDs?
You better go watch Sam that boy nice, my brother a Washington fan so I definitely watched him alot
I told all my coworkers we got Curtis Samuels and they laughed. Hopefully I'll be laughing at them in January.
Ha! Mine told me and I thought they were lying. I just kept looking back and forth like, for real?? Love this signing. I told everyone he's our Great Value Tyreek. To pair with our Great Value Kelce. While still having Stefon Diggs and Jimbo. Our offense might be a real real problem this year.
This guy is not a deep ball wr,he is a slot, they have Shakir,he averages 4 yac only.
@@davidsoria7701 what deep ball qbs has he played with?
Samuel got a little bit of an assist from the ref on the one play. That ref laid that DB out 😂
No doubt lol
It looks like he was signed to play the Diggs role with the underneath stuff
Explosiveness & Speed ?
So basically he’s what Buffalo wanted McKenzie to be, but better (and can catch)
He had less yards and TDs than Gabe.
Lol yes, with a trash QB in the commanders
He averages 4 yac, only.
He is not that good, they have a slot guy,he can't play outside, shoulda got Brown
