  • A follow on to the previous video, this time focusing on a viscous solution. I used delta as the height of my prism layer, but that is probably overly conservative. Using delta_star or theta is likely sufficient.

    This is what's been missing for StarCCM+. I had to do a project with this software and fumbled around in the dark for months.

    Thanx for a great tutorial!
    Hint: setting boundary condition types (Inlet, Outlet, Wall, Symmetry, etc) prior to meshing makes in unnecessary to set Prism Layers to Disabled on Inlet and Outlet - as mesher won't do that in this case.
