We also have an issue with comments in live chats that can’t be deleted and the user can’t be hidden.. when u go to the user channel it says user doesn’t exist.. but u can’t get help from RUclips
Can you set up a stonger comment moderation? I know you have options when you upload a video but I've never done a live so I'm not sure if those options are there?
The only other 2 options are STRICT and HOLD ALL. I'll try STRICT but I suspect it won't stop the bots as they are currently posting benign words that are geographical names.
@@bulletsbbq2576 hey, I found this that may help in live chat. Moderate Live Chat: Once Live Chat is enabled, you can delete messages by clicking the three vertical dots next to the offending comment and selecting “Delete.” Additional Options: As a moderator, you can also: Place users in time-out Hide users from the chat message feed or comments section on your channel Learn about live chat participants by going directly to their channel
My friend Jim the Tackle junky gets dozens of these type comments and some with links to various adult sites. I would think RUclips would Vet accounts better.

I think this is how these bots are trying to get around YT's automated vetting process. They may later "edit" their comments with Pron links
