At the beginning you state the densities of Mercury and the moon are 5.43 und 3.34 g/cm3, respectively. At 12:06 you wrote (incorrectly) the densities are 0.984 and 0.605 g/cm3. Anyway, I like you videos. I'm just binge watching them.

Argh, you got me there. That's supposed to be in fractions of Earth's density!

Not going to mention much on the Moon as you covered most of that pretty well in your more recent video. Hopefully you will do similar videos for other worlds in the future. :) That said it might be worth noting last last year or so scientists using the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter were able to show that since the Last Snowball Earth Glaciation the Earth's continental impact history is actually intact with fairly identical cratering rates relative to their size for both the Earth and the Moon with Earth naturally receiving more impacts of course. This was secondarily validated by using Kimberlite pipe eruptions to show that both records are relatively unaffected by erosion over the last 600 million years so it is really only the oceans which get rid of craters effectively.
Now for Mercury while scarpes are still forming on Mercury geologically speaking and there is still an active magnetic dynamo as you noted, what is really strange and interesting is how the core and magnetic field are substantially off-centered with respect to the rest of the planet.
Now in recent years the impact hypothesis for Mercury has been loosing favor to a new idea related to the ongoing sublimation of the planets surface as metals like sodium and potassium are sublimated and blown away by the sun that coupled with its 3:2 orbital resonance and what we know about stellar activity and its relation to age provides an alternative model where the Sun has simply over 4.5 billion years sublimated the planet away mostly in its active youth. Given the large size of Mercury's core which is bigger than the cores of the other Terrestrial worlds in the solar system perhaps Mercury may have once been our solar systems analog to the "super Earths" found around other stars? Perhaps both impacts and sublimation may have played a role or something else we haven't thought of? Hard to say but it is a fascinating if not sad world. It should also be noted that Mercury's orbit is the least stable of all the planets with a small but nonzero potential to get ejected from its orbit over the next billion years possibly leading to it colliding into the Sun or another planet or getting Ejected from the solar system all together.... In that sense perhaps Mercury is the most dangerous planet....

Theia let her core mate with earths core to form the Lumpy Core that we have today. Theia did it to us while giving birth to the moon. Nice Story and It’s True so I am sticking to it. Enjoy
