Nitpick, but Ryland didn't transform into an interior designer. He simply did decorations.
An interior designer is central to the planning of a new building: they have to understand everything from plumbing to electricity to human psychology.
You also have to pass exams to obtain a certification. All those self-proclaimed interior designers are just decorators

Every guru started at square one and he's just a guy who developed an interest in make up and is pursuing it. Its a wonderful thing for someone to follow a new passion and that takes nothing away from actual gurus. The world is wide enough for Shane and them. And his palette isn't gimmicky. Its literally him compiling his life, experiences, personality and career history into a makeup launch which is exactly what consumers want to see from this kind of collaboration.
@@ZariDV I knew I would get backlash, but I stand firm. The Beauty industry is dysfunctional, whether its cancel culture, the same names and faces, and cranking out products for a buck. It bothers me that a person who has no experience, and until recently had no real interest in makeup, can turn around and in a manner of months probably make millions, not because he earned a name for himself in the Beauty world, or started from square one as you put it, and then worked his way up the ranks. It also bothers me that there are hundreds of truly amazing makeup artists, who have worked there butts off, who will probably never get an opportunity like this. Makeup artists who truly live and love makeup and have made it there lives work...J. Star, whom I absolutely love, and Shane have entered into a very beneficial partnership. J.Star gets a free Public Relations makeover by associating with Shane, and Shane gets to hop, skip, and jump over all the hardwork and let's face it, talent, that should be required before coming out with a multi-million dollar makeup line. Sooo now the Beauty industry will stay stagnate and unhealthy, real talent will continue to go unnoticed and under valued, cranking out over-priced and gimmicky products and making a buck will continue to be the crumbling foundation that the Beauty world rests upon..

It however is beneficial for both ( i believe mist deals involving buisness should be mutually beneficial )so i can see your view point but i think that the palette is a way for both audiences to experience something they each put their time into. On the counterpount yes shane did get a head start in rhe beauty wirld but not RUclips in general he actually was one of the original and has worked hard to remain popular as well as also began RUclips as a hobby rather than a job. Pn yhe point of him getting a head start as a brauty guru i think it is a way to show that RUclipsrs have a rare opportunity to develop interests that many of is dont have the resources to have. But he did spend more than anyone should for a developing hobby but we dont control his finances. Now back to the point that many makeup artist who are truly fanominal never getting recognized it is a horroble truth but dont take it out on shane he has just begun and we do not have a clear representation of skill rather be frustrated that some youtubers big or small di the same makeup daily but add something different and is highly reearded (im not posptive such person exists going off what ive heard).
