While he's far from what he once was all you have to do to see how damn good he was is listen to his 1986 Toronto show. I'd argue that's some of the best thrash metal drumming ever.

They don't extend Master of Puppets that much either. That's what you get when you put down your phone, enjoy the moment and get fucking loud for Metallica. So next time, when James has recovered and Metallica is back on tour with a new album, you know what to do. 😎
