I had the privelage of know Father Dan for many years, as he welcomed me into the Church. He was such a humble and faithful servant and a wonderful example of Christ's love for others. He will be greatly missed. Much love to the Ressetar family.

We Bill and Anna will miss Fr. Dan very much, he was Great wonderful caring priest, always had time to talk, he always was busy with church or with many activities in the church or in the kitchen. I will miss his CONNECTION to his St. Maksym Sandovich and to my Great grandfather Maftej Szewczyk who worked together in the church before each ended up in prison. Condolences to Matushka Theodora,
Kolya, Grisha, Sasha and all the family, we will be praying for All of You.

For some reason it's not stated that Fr. Daniel was of the Eastern Orthodox Church, originally of the Church of Russia.
He migrated to United States and was under the Archdiocese of Sitka [Alaska] and North America, later the Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Metropolia (Metropolitan District), and in 1970, it was renamed the Orthodox Church in America (OCA).
