    I also left out Kareem's basic hook shot. Those are for my "Signature" move videos.

    You're right but this wasn't a vid about signature moves. It was about Post moves.

    The tutorial starts at 2:11.
    The only NBA 2K that has a plethora of post moves. Classic.

    Wow i had to come to your channel to see this video, yo i swear the youtube subscriptions is ALL messed up! But great video bro, i never was good at post up in 2k12 but The Dream would be my first Center in my all time team aswell! he's a beast down in the paint, on defense, and on offense!

  • @ShakeDown2012
    @ShakeDown2012  12 лет назад +1

    he would have played center like Alonzo Mourning. Ewing was my favorite center back then mainly because I'm a huge Knicks fan.

  • @ShakeDown2012
    @ShakeDown2012  12 лет назад

    absolutely. He was an MVP, Rookie of the Year, 4x Scoring Champion. The only thing is that the NBA Hall of Fame is something that represents your actions on and off the court so I doubt he'll get it. But we can be hopeful.

    Shimmy or double shimmy in to an up an under is the best post move in the game. I've shaken so many defenders on line with that. Looks beautiful!

  • @ShakeDown2012

    and the thing is, they work too. I suggest you heighten your inside scoring and your close shot. This way you can score on defenders.

  • @leorosa
    @leorosa 3 года назад

    wait, 2k11 has this drop step dunk and is overpowered? very rarely I can do this with the dunk, i guess I'm meaning w/ a power drbble. I can do the drop step power dribblre by giving my big the ball with his back to the opponent, then press the left trigger I think to engage and make contact, but still just holding the ball. I then press, the RT and he does a power dribble or step through, I guess depending also where my LS is directed but just makes a fake shot after.
    I can only do the power that automatically leads to a shot I think some animation does it, but is not always just by haivng the big with his back towards the opponent but not engaged, and then just right stick.
    How in the way, can you do the drop step dunk in 2k11? Even when I download custom team LA Lakers w/ Shaq he rarely dunks with a standing dunk of 99

  • @ThiagoAlvesFan

    That's what I'm working on. And I'm raising my post abilities as well. I chose a Slasher type SF, so my post moves are all POOR.

    @shakedown2012 Dwight does compare well to Alonzo. Good point!! He has the quickness. Zo had more range though & more intensity.
    I'm playing a season with the old Knicks!! Loved that team! Ewing can hang with any center!!

    I noticed you didn't mention alot of the more advanced post plays like the delayed one step fakes from misdirected shimmys, and double shimmys. You also could include Shaq's chocolate thunder move where he spins off the defender who bodys up on him in the low or high block and immediately calls for the alleyoop. You also could've mentioned after using the create space move or lean back move, pressing the y button to blast by your defender to the baseline for the layup, dunk. Needs more work.
