First heard this in Our Price in Darlington and went to the counter to ask who it was by and was it released. I was told that at that time it wasn’t released and they were just playing a promo copy but it will be released I a couple of weeks. So a couple of weeks or so later I went back and asked about the song and the Dorsey bugger at the counter looked at me as if I’d just beamed myself down from the planet Zog And asked her to take me to her leader. I went away rather disappointed and just put it as one of those records I’d never find until in the September I was on holiday in Blackpool and the record came on the radio (Radio Wave 96.5, for anyone from around that area). The presenter said who it was by so armed with my wallet and caught the bus from the caravan park where I was staying to the town centre and headed for this specialist music shop near The Tower and North Pier I knew of and bought the record there. Thank you Radio Wave and that music shop (whose name I forget now but it’s no longer there anyway). I could wait to come home and play the record. Never been so glad a holiday has ended since. 😂
