- The RM 88 in-house Automatic Tourbillon Smiley is a highly technical and creative timepiece made of grade 5 titanium which took three years to develop. Each of its decorative elements are cheerful emanations of the Smiley world and are spontaneously placed in the watch, following an explosion around the tourbillon carriage. Its existence attests a process of collective creation combining the inspiration and expertise of Richard Mille’s creative and technical teams with the mastery of engraver Olivier Kuhn.

Marc Gebauer is the best watch seller in Germany and really helped this brand to get such an amazing standing especially in the German watch community and he sold many watches to other influencers. He is an icon for high quality in Germany, but because of his English content also one for the whole world. It would be absolutely amazing to see you, the brand Richard Mille and Marc Gebauer, doing a video tour of a factory together. We, his community, would be really greatful to see you two working together. Just like I already said, he is an inspiration for many people who are interested in watches and always says having a Richard Mille should be the final goal for watch lovers. Also he is absolutely brand safe and just an amazing person to work together with.

Den Mist glaubst du wohl selbst nicht, was hätte eine etablierte High End Brand wie RM von einer Kollaboration mit dem YT-Selbstdarsteller? Deren Klientel ist ne andere Hausnummer, der Gebauer soll mal lieber schauen dass er ordentliche Ware verkauft, die Rolex, welche er dem ach so lästigen Kunden (unprofessionell Ende nie den in seinem Stream bloßstellen zu wollen) angedreht hat war qualitativ eine Sauerei, Glieder komplett durch, totpoliert usw. - aber die YT-Kiddies fressen ja eh alles. RM kann sich die Kunden aussuchen, die brauchen den Typ mal definitiv nicht... 😂
@@andreasa.3817 Wahrscheinlich brauchen sie es nicht, aber wäre es nicht trotzdem schön so etwas zu sehen? Und ich denke das Marc einen sehr großen Einfluss hatte auf viele junge Leute und hat ihnen Uhren nähergebracht und vorallem auch Richard Mille Modelle. Ich glaube es wäre auch einfach nur eine win win Situation, falls ein Video von den beiden käme. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass sie ein persönliches Problem mit Marc Gebauers auftreten und wirken haben, was ich persönlich nicht verstehe, aber man kann auf jeden Fall nicht sagen, dass er einen schlechten Job macht, sonst wäre er sicherlich nicht so erfolgreich in dem was er macht. Außerdem hat er wirklich keinen Ruf schädigenden Ruf wie so manch andere RUclipsr, weshalb er sich meiner Meinung nach schon sehr qualifiziert für eine Zusammenarbeit.

@@tmkvxj Ich persönlich finde seinen Content sehr oberflächlich, meist geht es nur um den Faktor Geld, auf Werke etc. geht er kaum bis gar nicht ein. Aber das ist Geschmacksache, was hingegen gar nicht geht wenn man sich als seriöse Person inszeniert ist das in meinem Eingangsposting erwähnte öffentliche negative framen eines Kunden der bei ihm gekauft hat, nur weil dieser Mängel die wirklich vorhanden waren reklamiert hatte. Solche Geschäftsgebaren sind wirklich unterste Schublade, gerade wenn man sich selbst als Anbieter im Luxussegment sieht. Der Käufer hatte ein wirklich langes und sachliches Video hochgeladen, der Gebauer hingegen die Kommentare einfach eingeschränkt, zumindest bei den betroffenen Videos seinerseits. Wie gesagt, jedem das seine - er mag auch Kompetenz besitzen, aber manche Dinge macht man einfach nicht.

The negative comments on here, as much as it may not look much, any automatic timepiece is a masterpiece. The time and effort engineering such an instrument is mind-blowing. This won't be to everyone's taste but needs to be appreciated.
The price is 1.2 million dollars and the watch looks best on the wrist of a 12 year old. As far as the timepiece it's nothing special you can get way more amazing feats of watch making for 1/10 the price.

@@jt-2286 I have never seen a RM I thought looked better than a classic G shock and for 1/2000th price you can't go wrong. Also running around with a high end watch is like running around with a newborn you are super conscious to not dent it. Your g shock is like your dog always ready to go for whatever any place any time.

People who shit on RM watches I think are missing the point. These watches are supposed to look like something that a kid would want. RM is trying to tap into nostalgia, but add high horology, rare materials and over-engineering. It’s not for everyone, but I’m glad someone is out there taking risks in the watch world and not just repeating the same old design.
