As usual, Kirisaki Daiichi plays dirty, on offense and defense, trying to injure the opposing players. However, Kiyoshi still pushes on and gets his spirit really burned up, but while he's fired up Hyuga can't seem to make any of his 3-pointers

These episodes are always so hard to watch.
But oh my gosh, Kuroko is never someone you want angry. It's always scarier when the quiet ones get angry lol and Kuroko carried in this game!
Kagami is maybe the best player of the team but Teppei is the GOAT! He get violently foul during the whole 1st half but he is still dominant and carries the team on his back.
By the way, Izuki have more turnovers than points and assists combined 😭😭😭

Honestly it's always amazing to see how hard he goes in the first half.
I mean, Teppei is playing on a handcap and taking a ragdoll beating but is still THIS strong!
(He's lucky to not have cracked his skull with that elbow to the face.)
While it's admirable how Teppei wants to protect his teammates it's still his biggest flaw how he overdoes putting everything on his back.
I kind understand where he is coming from for not wanting anyone to end up like him but it's hard for others to just sit and watch him be abused like that too.
Which is why I felt that when Riko even teared up and said that she would rather have him hate her forever than let things keep going like that.
Your comments on switching roles up or subbing people out are a very interesting topic.
Taking Hyuga out is complicated because Seirin has no other Shooting Guard and their accuracy at that role is very unreliable.
Izuki is a case that can be made however.
In theory Teppei could fill the role of a PG, but the problem would be that the beating might get worse due to the increased focus on him and that doubling his duties not only as a center but as a PG would put way too much strain on his injured body too.
Now for Izuki's sub, Furihata(1st year PG)...
Funny how I never thought about it before despite watching this anime so many times but honestly? I think it could actually work.
It's hard to discuss about how Furihata would do here because it would fall into spoilers and it's hard to gauge how he would do against a team of dirty cheaters but his "skill set" might have been useful here.
(Maybe, if I remember to do so in the future I will ask your opinion on this when they reveal what Furihata does because now I'm intrigued.)
The guy with the cat mouth is the Hyuga sub, he is a shooting guard.
But is he reliable? That's the problem 😂😂

Koganei isn't a Shooting Guard, he's a Small Forward.
He fills in a more generalist role.
