Nice turn table! We got my son a one couple years ago. It'd the same AT you just replaced with this unit. Now, everywhere we go he's checking out: vinyl. He's gotten some great deals on some vintage albums.
I still have my AT. Great Turntable. Looking to set it up in my office potentially.

Cobra, Nice Turn Table way nicer than the ones we had when we were younger.
This one takes some time setting everything with the tone arm and such. But seems to make good audio once its set.

Just scored an open box off of Amazon for $120 w/tax. Your very detailed review and recommendations, Peter, sold me on it. I even ordered the ATN91 stylus for a, hopefully, economical upgrade. I'm a GenXer, and haven't had a turntable in over 30yrs! This vid review will def help clarify the setup.

Should the tone arm be even with the platter or just level (parallel) to the player? I am not sure how I will know the tone arm is balanced.
Floating Level to the player. Thats the zero point. Then rotate the counter weight back in which will give it the down force that sets the needle on the record. 3.5 grams downforce is recommended. If you find its skipping or skating while playing…give it a little more downforce weight.
I just got one and am trying to connect it to a bluetooth speaker but no light is appearing on the turntable, any ideas?

Is there a good speaker that you recommended for this record player?
Sorry, not off hand. I feed mine through an old Denon receiver with some large Sony floor speakers I got at the thrift store years ago.
Mine didn’t come with the anti-skate deal? Can you buy it separately
