    very nice, and the only thing I would change is making the outside roles only in the botton, and invert the medias, mechanical filtration first.

    I have one question, on the container throughout you have made holes, so since its easier for water to flow through sponge than through rocks, more water will flow through sponge, and less through bio media, now thats a good idea, as anaerobic bacteria (so low water flow region) breaks ammonia, and aerobic bacteria (high water flow area) breaks sludge to ammonia, so thats the reason I can think of, if still if you want full water to go throw the stone then holes should only be at bottom

      You guessed it right; that's the reason. Both types of bacteria will thrive in this filter and complete the nitrogen cycle. The filter media are also added to this filter based on their porosity, and the holes are thoughtfully made like this.

      It is best to use water from a UV or RO water purifier.

    Us biofilter ko ham kitne liter ke tank mai use kar sakte hai sir ?? Aur agar bade tank mai use karna hai too kitna bada container use karna hooga??

    • @madebykm
      @madebykm  Год назад

      Maine ek 1000ml ka container use kiya hai, aur ye 38-72L tank ke liye sufficient hai. 75-114L tank ke liye 2 1000ml ka containers use kiya ja sakta hai.

    Ye bio filter banaya he to usme bioseramic, carbon,bio ball ye kab material change karte he

      Isme biological filter media (lava rocks, ceramic rings, bio sponge etc.) change karne ki zarurat nehi hai. Jab filter dirty ho jayega tab aquarium ke paani se filter media dho dalne se ye clean ho jayega. Aur tap water se filter ko clean karna parega. Bas itna hi karna parega.
