You can put plush in the low medium with a dryer sheet and damp towel it freshens it up and removes dust and some dirt can even do it with that blanket .. and other things .. Lv the vds ❤
The very first box you went through was full of Aida cloth which is terribly expensive stuff. Crafters would love the cloth and the stuff in the binders was vintage patterns which are in high demand to crafters.
You mentioned several times that a piece of white metal jewelry didn't have tarnish and might be white gold. It could also be sterling with rhodium plating. Rhodium is used to prevent tarnish from forming on the surface and has been used on mid-quality or better sterling since the 1980s but not much before that. You mentioned a gold ring marked 417. That's 10K (10 divided by 24).

I also enjoy selling books every week, especially biography, old westerns, sci-fi, vintage antique, and Bibles (+ shipping). There is a lot of competition out there for books, but marketing a book is key! Yarn, sewing, books, and thread are another great eBay item for me.

There simply isn't a big market for it, and the market that does exist does not spend much on it. This is the way.

The ring with the grapes on it, is gold. It is actually Black Hills gold, mined from the Black Hills in South Dakota. All of their jewelry have grapes and vines on them. You will have to google their history and story. My Dad was from South Dakota, and my cousin worked in one of the mines for years.
FYI - Caron Wildflowers, Watercolors silk and cotton fibers sell for big bucks. It’s floss or thread or fibers. Bg bucks compared to other craft supplies.
Hi just to let you know those Disney prints in the folder at the start could possibly be pictures and patterns on the reverse side for either cross stitch, crochet or knitting and cost up to $20.00 here in Australia. The red box that had the thread in it look a bit like silk thread and very pricey.

There are people who collect graphics art, marketing advertisements, etc. Condition and brightness of the colors matter I think. On that jewelry, I have pieces that I've collected from bulk jewelry mystery boxes that has diamonds in sterling silver, and I have non-precious metal earrings that has rubies and emeralds in them. They are older pieces though. Nice haul!
Oh on that craft supplies I know you already told me it sells so cheap! When you find it at any other market you pay up for these things I would pay you more of what you are looking for. I know its worth it. I wish you better luck on selling the items.
Your Cross Stitch magazines should sell well. A sampler Crosstitch magazine is not a sample. A sampler is a type of Crosstitch project. It means it has an alphabet in it. Many Cross Stitchers love to stitch samplers. The Christmas ornament or other holiday issues should sell really well.
We've sold the magazines in our Whatnot auctions for 2 weeks in a row. Each time a large flat rate full with as many as I could fit (15 to 20 pounds). First week it sold for $3, and last night the other sold for $7. I know I keep seeing comments about these magazines and how much they're worth, but I don't get it.

There is a revival of the craft with new designers, new fabrics, and new supplies. The crossstitch art has been revitalized. The new wave of crosstitch stitchers value the older magazines to look for timeless patterns. The super old ones (1980s with teddy bears and geese on them) are probably not the best sellers, but the ones in the most recent years should always sell well. You could try charging more to see what your market will tolerate. A lot of CrossStitchers will take the older magazines and swap them at Cross-stitch retreats, if you can believe it. Cross-stitch retreats are a huge thing. Each June, Stitch Con in Ohio runs two weekends at 300 people each weekend. The attendees just go to stitch their cross-stitch projects and swap magazines and supplies. There are these retreats all across the nation and several of them run two weekends with hundreds of ladies in attendance each weekend. People will fly from Australia, Germany, England, and other countries just to come over here to attend cross-stitch retreats. It has become a big thing.

Don't underestimate the cross stitch. I sold my sisters collection some patterns I got over $80.00 each and the material I made a lot of money.
We have yet to get even $40 for an entire flat rate box full of the stuff.
