The feel of the buttons could have had a brief description like, "This units buttons and knobs are stiffer than this units". Really easy sentence. I do appreciate the rest of the video, liked it a lot. Just a minor quibble at the end of the video.
Great review. I would consider the Virtual Fly but it is twice the price as RSG and it will be interesting to see Austin's review to see how it feels since he has a plane with a G1000.
The RSG is ~$2,200 with the stand. The VF is $3,300. Not quite double but still a lot more. I'm curious to know what Austin has to say as well. VF seems to make only legit high end products.
Do you have a link Austin's video talking about the feel of the two? I saw the comparison between the RealSimGear and SIMiONIC G1000s and he said both felt too loose compared to the real thing. But he did not talk about the VF G1000 in that video. It would have at least helped in this video to have said whether one felt heavier or looser than the other.
Simionic is a no-buy as of iPad usage (support?) and therefore wrong displaysize, warranty in China, import tax to EU. Yet great depth of simulation. Realsimgear no-buy as of maybe not so realistic knob simulation and therefore possible quality issues. I will buy VF G1000. None of above mentioned disadvantages, very high quality, EU warranty and part of FAA certification. Also expandable with other products from VF up to a full AATD. Currently even 15 % off. Now I would like to know, which setup will give me maximum depth of the real G1000. I used P3D most of the time with more than 1000 $ addons. P3D runs on AATDs like Redbird and military sims. But they force you to buy new software with every major update. Even worse, you need to use Flight1 for the bezel. Thats again a 1000 $ drawback! Only to let you use a bezel. No way! An instructor station is another 600.... I already own the non-pro student simulator and am not amused... Therefore I say goodbye to P3D and hi to X-Plane, yet I am worried about the offered depth of simulation. I am used to years of P3D... For that money I want close to 100 % functionality and no compromises. Too bad, there are yet no reviews about depth. So any help and experience is very appreciated. Also I hope X-Plane has no hidden traps (bezel? If yes, MSFS 2020 should be out soon)
Michael, I would assume that you're going to show the differences between the two with regard to software operation in a forth coming video with Austin?

Would love to see the king of all made by aviatek
Thank you so much Michael .

I would like to see the comparison also
WOW! these are cool. I bet they cost though.
Thanks, I got two G1000s from Realsim but didn’t know the monitors had different firmware.
I have to switch sides with the monitors 🤨

What is PFD and what is MFD
(PFD) is short for: Primary Flight Display | (MFD) is short for: Multi Function Display
