But it's clear that he has huge respect for Ohtani and feels he took the wrong approach at the plate in that final WBC at bat. He got beat, shown up, so that's the main take-away. I don't mean to sound cruel, but Trout has proven to be so injury prone that I doubt he'll play anything close to a full season again. The Angels should not count on him and desperately need an infusion of top players.
